Maybe it's just something that has always fallen to the older gen, or maybe boomers, who have always had so much brought to them on a silver platter are late to the party of real social responsibility, but there are a lot of good things in life that only exist because people are willing to pay for them for each other, and 'people' most definitely doesn't always mean the gov.

I think their target audiences are different.  This is probably overly simplistic, but I think Limbaugh targeted pretty much the same audience that Trump now targets and that is no accident.  I think Rogan targets young males without much regard to politics.

whether he's just lying or just can't remember doesn't make that much difference in the end to the fact that his fans don't care but should. Actually in this case, I don't think he meant to get it wrong because he was sort of backtracking when he shifted to "Biden reappointed him" but Trump being Trump, he wasn't going to correct himself, because if half the people didn't know the difference, he wasn't going to help them see it. So very deliberate in that sense.

I can see this distinction, OTOH, my recollections of Rush was that he was misogynistic enough I doubt he had a large proportion of female fans. The idea that Rogan trends younger among males than Rush I can see.

I think Trump and many of his supporters are also misogynistic and there are conservative women who don't have a problem with that.  Or at least they have less of a problem with misogony that they do with what the other side offers or is perceived to be offering.

Most recently, GLP-1 drugs have blown through everyone's health care  budgets. As the articles state, insurers are scurrying to remove as much coverage for them as they can. Of course, if we had a real market in prescription drugs - one where the most power buyers were actually allowed to use their leverage, the price probably would have come down by now.
