This is one of those things that in order for us to maintain the type of country we want, we will have to work hard for the rest of our lives. And anger is a good thing if it motivates us to try to make things better for others.

Does this mean we can't have any fun? Of course not. It just means, as one of my favorite passages says, that to everything there is a season.

Well said. Hillary and Kamala both conceded when it became apparent they didn't have a path to victory. Trump didn't, he incited an insurrection and was never brought up on charges. He should have been in prison by 2023 instead of running for president. But even though i'm a rational, non-conspiracy theorist, I still say Trump and Musk found a way to cheat. Mostly Musk because Trump is as stupid as a bag of rocks. Kamala conceded to quickly, IMO. There's no way Trump won all the swing states fairly.

when the rules have gone down the tubes allowing a bad minority to control things, at some point the majority tosses the rules, cleans out the game and resets the rules. That's the way every society that succeeds long term rejuvenates itself after a period of decay and stagnation. And if you are worried the society doesn't have the majority to do it, your society is already ****ed beyond saving anyway and it's time to save up to move.
