I bet they were sweating last year. Prolly rooting against the Lions to win. My guess is that bought insurance against this. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Figure out a way to do it and do it now. I don't care about 2028 Quote
RedRamage Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I wonder what the price would be. Would you pay two firsts? Quote

Wow... a second and a sixth round pick? Oh... you mean the FIRST Khalil Mack trade... Two 1st, a 3rd and a 6th in exchange for a 2nd and a conditional 5th... plus Mack of course. Feels like a lot given the way that Holmes drafts. Plus of course I'd assume that this would also require a new big contract for Parsons, which might limit the Lions ability to resign other people... Not 100% sure I'd do that. Not 100% sure I'd not do it either... but it's not an automatic yes from me. Quote

That would be some yuuuge money for the D-line, I still do it! Quote
sagnam Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago It would cost a lot, but ... I don't know, 24 and 26 year-old elite pass rushers. That would make a bunch of defensive positions better immediately. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If the Lions made a call on Maxx Crosby I’m sure they’ll make a call on Micah Parsons. The question becomes though what you’re willing to give up — both draft capital wise and contract extension wise. If they traded for Parsons and extended both him and Hutch, you’re not extending Jamo, and probably not 2-3 of Gibbs/Campbell/LaPorta/Branch. Is that worth it? Maybe. Parsons is a damn good football player. But you’re also setting yourself up for a bare cupboard in a few years unless you can really hit on some mid-round picks. I tend to think there will be a higher bidder somewhere in the NFL. Quote
