I'm beginning to think Harris' plan includes no pitchers get over 2 years and the starting rotation will consist of players under team control and perpetual patch work Quote

It is not a terrible approach as pitchers are fragile, but I would still like to see them take chances once in a while. Imai wasn't really on my radar though. Quote

The structure of the deal—3/54, opt-outs after each season, versus an industry estimate that he would get 6/150—tells me he did not get the offer he wanted from the any of the teams he would have liked. IOW, another Murikami situation. Quote

Shinzaki Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Could today's removal of Maduro lead to a return of the VSL? Quote
papalawrence Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Okamoto to Toronto. I could see Harris being interested in Bichette, but with Torres I'd think not. Especially with Anderson, Lee and Jung still likely getting some time there to see what happens Quote

chasfh Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM I’ll be interested to see whether Andy is good enough to stick on the Dodgers’ big league roster for a whole 183 days. Quote
tiger2022 Posted yesterday at 04:46 PM Posted yesterday at 04:46 PM I can't imagine the Tigers paying Bichette what he would command for a salary. Just not going to happen. Also, Ibanez is a great guy to have in the organization. He isn't going to hurt you at the plate and he can play competent defense at multiple positions. Even if he doesn't stick the whole year, he can play half the season at AAA and come up for injuries, etc Quote
