And yet, it usually isn't for Kahnle. It's the movement on his change that makes it work.

I guess so. Like a harder knuckle ball but with less movement. It just seems like major league hitters could time it up easier. But, he's usually pretty good.

I quit wearing quarter zips for this reason.  It used to be a convenient thing I got for working a couple of conventions.  Then the VPs started wearing them in webcasts and such.

They are convenient.   My office is normally a weird temperature so full-zip hoodie is usually the way to go with a polo or t-shirt with some derogatory thing about Ohio State on it so my boss who happens to be a buckeye can see he sucks.

He’s got 400 innings of 3.38 era ball, so it’s not a fluke

Yeah, it's not a small sample size. And we won't bring up Maeda's career numbers before he got here. 😏😏

They’re talking to a NASCAR driver during the game? What’s next, a poker player, or a bowler?

They have to give Daniella her nightly fluff pieces. But during the action? Skip the commercials if they want to talk about something that doesn't have anything to do with baseball.

But, but, but but but but… That would be treason!

There were so many Seeing Eye hits last night that it seemed like there was an odd wind current sweeping through the infield and the balls just kept finding the gaps or landing just between the outfielders.
