I am absolutely amazed, especially after that first game. Wow. I would’ve been totally OK with a 1-2 series in St. Louis and the idea that we go and actually win the series 2-1 is just astonishing.

It is dry...should be from now until November. So, no rainouts!

Do you even need a driveway? Don't you just sit by the pool with a cold beverage while young ladies in bikinis frolic to and fro?

If we get out of here with two wins I will feel like we stole the Hope diamond.

A perfect and concise statement. But to expand on it? I mentally resigned myself to the Tigers losing this game. As a BP day and against a very good home team, I didn't see how we could win. So a victory here is pure joy, as it was unexpected.

It's always good to beat a good National League team two of three in their park—especially one that is arguing our biggest rival over there.

I wonder how collegial the Tigers and Cardinals Live group broadcast is going to be.

The one creep was kinda laughing at Todd Jones after the first game. He who laughs last, laughs best.

And helping out the Cubbies!

Even with the BP game today the Tigers have 6 BP arms available and a starter that has gone at least 5 in 7 of 9 starts.

AJ and this staff are pretty much re-writing the book on how to design and manage a pitching staff.

And what is really remarkable is they're doing it (last year and today) with the 3 hitter minimum rule. Pretty amazing.

I’m grateful that when we play Cleveland we don’t have to share the pre-and post game with their FanDuel counterparts. They have their own network thing going on.

In addition to Skubal, both Reese and Jobe have negative platoon OPS against splits - they have been handling LHH.

The good part about a staff that throws the change-up.
