Sports_Freak Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Eklo was 0 fer 4 with 3 punchouts. Rojas already had 3 hits. Hinch was playing for a strikeout. But...Brieske was pitching. Quote
romad1 Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Twiniaks are losing 12-1 in the 6th...so that's good. Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Ordinarily, I would be OK splitting a series on the road, but against this opponent three wins certainly seemed more than possible. But they’re a better club than their record indicates and the Tigers didn’t play as well as they could have. Each team pretty much got what they deserved out of this series. Quote
romad1 Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Stupid Twiniaks are mounting a comeback on the As Quote

He is an excellent defensive catcher and he'll have his spot. But I also think he can expect to step aside for a pinch hitter later in games due to his offense. 1 Quote

Shinzaki Posted June 6, 2025 Posted June 6, 2025 Dingler's defensive game is pretty good...and he's miles better offensively than Rogers. At least so far this season... Quote
romad1 Posted June 6, 2025 Posted June 6, 2025 It appears that all our chasers lost yesterday. The Daleks can pound sand. Quote

Dingler’s defnese is top notch. He’s a superior options in all facets right now. The Achilles Heel I see for Dingler is his propensity to chase. It’s costing him strikes in the zone. I think pitchers are challenging him now, but as much as he crushes balls in the zone, he’s dead in the water on decent breaking stuff. Once the league wakes up to him and figures out how to attack him, then we’ll see how quickly he can adapt to make himself a very good #1 for the long term. Quote
