With this sweep, I have to think Harris is on the horn for bullpen help. Yikes!

I’m glad I didn’t build my day around this game. I was unable to because I’m blacked out in the Mariners viewing area but instead I took a great walk in the foothills of the Boise Front today at the botanical garden and spent quality time with my son. Hope things get better in the next few days.

Tiger's out homered by Seatle 15-6 this year. The Mariners scored as much runs in the ninth innings as the Tiger's all series.

The M's weren't chasing Vest's high FB and the ump was calling it a strike.  Going to be tough for Vest in that scenario

When the Tigers signed him, Yankees forums were saying he gets tired as the season progresses and his pitches have less movement.

Yep.    I think having that hefty lead might erode a little intensity but the bullpen is a bit alarming, but it's good that we are finding out now and not 10 days AFTER the trade deadline.      I am still not worried.      I think it's a helluva time for an All Star Break - and going until July 13th to have your first 4-game losing streak is darn impressive, no, it's DAMN impressive.    

Everyone take a deep breath.     It was a bad weekend and that's all it was.
