It seems like there are multiple in-game ads every half inning. Just blasting us with Ford Truck ads, Fan Duel ads and lawyer ads. Yeah, "All we do is win."

Twins haven’t scored since the 3rd inning of yesterday’s game. 16 straight shutout innings by Tiger pitchers. 7-0 Detroit after 8.

In Idaho, I’m getting Chevy truck ads. And one of the guys at the very end of the ad is wearing a Tiger’s cap.

Winning two games in a row against a team we should reasonably expect to handle is not something our club has been able to do for some time. I hope the fact the Tigers are doing this again “means something“ and it’s not just one more point on a graph in the statistical ozone.

My fear is that the Twins don't like their owners or their coach and that this is somehow more about them than us.  OTOH, the vibe shift for the Tigers will not hurt.

For years it has frosted me the the ads "brought to you from your local Chevy Dealers" were always scenes shot around CA. OTOH, for a long stretch at least the aerial shot of the dealership lot that ended the local Ford dealer assoc ad was of Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, which is at least the right state.
