The Twins are struggling so bad they can't even score off of Kahnle. Twice they had a man at third with less than 2 outs and couldn't score against Morton. Quote

Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Saturday at 02:53 AM Posted Saturday at 02:53 AM that was a lucky strikeout. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted Saturday at 02:54 AM Posted Saturday at 02:54 AM (edited) Hurter gets an out on a HBP. Somedays you just aren't going to lose the game. EDIT: followed by a walk. Edited Saturday at 02:55 AM by gehringer_2 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Saturday at 02:58 AM Posted Saturday at 02:58 AM It seems like there are multiple in-game ads every half inning. Just blasting us with Ford Truck ads, Fan Duel ads and lawyer ads. Yeah, "All we do is win." Quote
lordstanley Posted Saturday at 03:01 AM Posted Saturday at 03:01 AM (edited) Twins haven’t scored since the 3rd inning of yesterday’s game. 16 straight shutout innings by Tiger pitchers. 7-0 Detroit after 8. Edited Saturday at 03:02 AM by lordstanley Quote

Dan Gilmore Posted Saturday at 03:14 AM Posted Saturday at 03:14 AM Yeah, Horn is punching his ticket back to Toledo. Quote

Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Saturday at 03:16 AM Posted Saturday at 03:16 AM (edited) finally an out on the 21st pitch. Edited Saturday at 03:17 AM by Crazy Cat Gentleman Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 03:17 AM Posted Saturday at 03:17 AM Bailey Horn is a low leverage guy put into a low leverage situation. We just need to hope it doesn’t get out of hand. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Saturday at 03:19 AM Posted Saturday at 03:19 AM ha! instant DP, Tigers win! Quote
lordstanley Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM Tigers win! Back to 20 games above .500 for the first time in awhile. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM Posted Saturday at 03:20 AM When he got to three balls and two strikes I was going to post this was a good time for a double play and it happened before I could write it down. 1 Quote

IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 08:49 AM Posted Saturday at 08:49 AM Winning two games in a row against a team we should reasonably expect to handle is not something our club has been able to do for some time. I hope the fact the Tigers are doing this again “means something“ and it’s not just one more point on a graph in the statistical ozone. Quote

My fear is that the Twins don't like their owners or their coach and that this is somehow more about them than us. OTOH, the vibe shift for the Tigers will not hurt. Quote

For years it has frosted me the the ads "brought to you from your local Chevy Dealers" were always scenes shot around CA. OTOH, for a long stretch at least the aerial shot of the dealership lot that ended the local Ford dealer assoc ad was of Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, which is at least the right state.
