Lions’ offense struggles tonight on its first two possessions before hitting its stride, so is playing catch up the entire game. Keeps it relatively close but the Ravens never feel in danger. This is lose to how I feel. I think we're a better team than we were against Green Bay in week one as evidenced by last weeks game. Sometimes we look really good against running and mobile QBs, as we did last week or when we beat the Chiefs two years ago. Sometimes we look completely out of sync and get run over as we did against Baltimore or in the Buffalo game last year. If this was at Ford Field I would feel more confident. It's at Baltimore and I think they're going to win. If they lose, but keep it close throughout, there is no shame or harm in losing a competitive game to one of the NFL's 3-4 best teams. I do hope the Lions prove those of us predicting a loss wrong though and come out with a big win. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted Monday at 06:22 PM Author Posted Monday at 06:22 PM I feel similar to this game as to how I felt going into Dallas in late 2023. May not be the better team in this moment, but should be able to take anything that comes our way and have a chance to win it. Lucky for us, we get old man Bill Vinovich tonight instead of Brad Allen. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted Monday at 06:39 PM Posted Monday at 06:39 PM (edited) BTW just checked the weather forecast out of curiosity and it looks like it's going to be a nice evening in Baltimore, 70 degrees, clear and only a few mph of wind so we won't have to worry about that being a factor. Motown Bombers Posted Monday at 07:00 PM Posted Monday at 07:00 PM The first Lion that scores needs to do the Aaron Glenn. 1 Quote

It’s freaking beautiful out. Perfect football weather. Fun fact, lions don’t lose when I attend games. You’re welcome everyone. 1 Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted Monday at 08:12 PM Posted Monday at 08:12 PM I am so surprised. Can't believe it. Shocked. Wow. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Monday at 09:04 PM Posted Monday at 09:04 PM I don’t know why they don’t just put him on IR at the beginning of the season and then activate him for the playoffs. Quote

Because this isn't season ending IR... just out for like 4 weeks or so. The fact that they aren't ruling out him coming back is very surprising. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Monday at 09:08 PM Posted Monday at 09:08 PM Rapoport believes he’ll be back soon. Could have McNeil and Davenport coming back at the same time. Quote
Shinzaki Posted Monday at 09:18 PM Posted Monday at 09:18 PM He got twisted by a late double team on the sack he registered..lucky it's not torn Quote

I was gonna say that as well, yeah I'm half joking but seriously with a guy that has an injury rep like him you may be better served stashing him until/when your regular guys start to wear down or get hurt at the end of the season. Mr.TaterSalad Posted Monday at 10:25 PM Posted Monday at 10:25 PM I simply don't have the confidence that when he comes back he won't get re-injured. He has played all of 4 games or so in the last two seasons. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Monday at 11:10 PM Posted Monday at 11:10 PM Craig Reynolds is a healthy scratch. Guess they are going with Vaki is the 3rd RB. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Monday at 11:36 PM Posted Monday at 11:36 PM I was worried the Lions would fall 2 games behind Green Bay if we lost the Baltimore. But with the Packers losing to Cleveland, we'll still be within a game with a loss. Quote
StrangeBird Posted Monday at 11:57 PM Posted Monday at 11:57 PM I‘d love to be wrong but I don‘t see the Lions D stopping Lamar tonight. The pass rush still leaves a lot to be desired. Ravens 42, Lions 24. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Tuesday at 12:00 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:00 AM The Lions won't keep it close. Ravens 17, Lions 56. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted Tuesday at 12:26 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:26 AM Efficient offense. Don't run it good until it's time to score the TD. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted Tuesday at 12:30 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:30 AM Hell of a job by the offensive line on that first drive. Hutch needs to wake up. The preseason is over. Quote
TP_Fan Posted Tuesday at 12:31 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:31 AM Lions defense: first down. First down. First down. Ugly to start. Quote
