The fractured nature of the political opposition to this current nuttery is def a problem. I hope a bright light answer emerges by Nov 2028. Quote

Yet the elites keep aquiescing anyway. Media, very smart pundits (ie. Ezra Klein, Yglesias, etc.) law firms, universities, corporations. Quote

I agree, just wish we could have had a criteria called 3) electability.... definitely feel like that might have been able to keep us from this current debacle. Quote

Even MTS’s archives exist somewhere. If the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine can make snapshots available to us, then someone has the whole thing. So it’s probably too late for a lot of us. Oh well—we might as well as continue to hang together before we hang separately. Quote

Archie Posted September 20 Posted September 20 This thread is interesting because I remember the days when I brought up Biden's mental impairments - which were proven to be true by the way. All I heard from the far lefties on this forum is I have no right to question Biden's mental state or lack of one because I wasn't a doctor. So am I supposed to believe you all have medical degrees and are now doctors? The comedy of MTF political section is priceless. Quote

Joe may have been slowing down, but the comparison to Trump isn’t apples to oranges, it’s watermelons to raisins. On his very best day, the Orange Man who shall remain nameless has never had an actual educated understanding of foreign affairs, domestic policy, or humanitarian endeavors and how these policies shape our world militarily, politically, and financially…. And all three also needed a good dose of empathy to garner the highest level of success for/and/to ALL entities involved in this world. And, no one can tell me otherwise, without a giant smirk on their face, that they think the Donald’s rants are anything but incredibly embarrassing and mostly populated with a ridiculous amount of straightout lies of the stupidest nature. if you were sitting in a board room, and this was your manager, and he was popping off with the dumb ass reason Dijour of why you should fall to your knees and kiss his ass, I believe 98% of you would pull your knees off the floor brush them off turn around and leave the room. But for some reason, you’re all hanging in with this nonsense that’s going on. Tis a puzzlement…. as the king of Siam would say. surely there has to be a limit to what you’re willing to incorporate into your psyche when you know they are nothing but lies. Surely there must truly be a straw that will break the camels back. 2 Quote
