Nate7474 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Another day and another game Tork takes a ball called strike. I bet he can’t wait until next year to challenge those. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Torkelson is gonna hit .300 next year with ABS preventing all of his BS called 3rd strikeouts Quote
Hongbit Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Not a surprise as yesterday’s 1st base ump that called every questionable check swing a strike is behind the plate today. Just hope he calls it both ways Quote

So...criticizing the GM for not trading for him seems...odd. Bregman..on the other hand.. So let's never sign or trade for any player and wait until the season is over to see how they did. Is that the logic? Quote
Sports_Freak Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Only 1 runner left on base. We're getting better. 😅 1 Quote
lordstanley Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Flaherty looked better than Cecconi did in the 1st inning. Scoreless after 1. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Flaherty 3 up 3 down. Hinch will probably let him go 2 more hitters next inning before bringing in Kahnle. Quote

Is that the logic? No, it was evident Suarez was trending that way and his history went that way. The start of the year was more the outlier - he had a hot start in 2024 also and fell off the cliff in the 2nd half. And we were looking to add more contact if anything and he definitely didn't fit that mold. Edited October 2, 2025 by 4hzglory Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 20 innings of postseason baseball. 1 earned run. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Just put up a huge crooked number, please. Score 6 or 7 runs and take away all of this stress. Please... 1 Quote

Hongbit Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 I want them to win today but I’m not going to be upset if they lose. Without going full TP, I’m pretty much done with this team and their infuriating approach at the plate. 1 1 Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Did y'all know that kid debuted in the playoffs? I had no idea. Next you'll tell me Kershaw and Stafford were high school teammates. 1 Quote

Feel free to use, but do so wisely. An old boss of mine had sign over his desk with something pretty close: "Why is there never time to do it right the first time but always time to do it over?" And then, maybe Toronto. It's a long, long road to the World Series without getting the bye in the wildcard round. Especially as a 6 seed. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 The kid gets a hit. Now Cleveland should trade Ramirez. 😆 Quote
theroundsquare Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 I only have gameday but gameday is making it look like Javy returned to finding sliders low and away absolutely irresistible Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Are they just showing a replay of yesterday's game with the scoring chance here? Or will they do something with it? Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Pulling their starter already. Maybe it’s their turn to manage like dumbasses Quote
