Does this make it easier for them to have the airflow blowing out from home to the fences when Skubal is pitching? It's pouring rain outside my window, which is 144 miles north of Seattle. Quote

In old the apothecary's units 'm' was a 'minum' which meant one liquid drop - in this case per ounce. 1 Quote

lordstanley Posted October 10 Posted October 10 With this game, the Tigers are at the same stage the Lions were going into the Commanders game in January. Win and they will be one of only four team left. Lose and they go home. Quote
oblong Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 So Fox’s pregame makes me think I am watching a Seattle broadcast. 4 minute segment, with sentimental music, about how poor Seattle never won a WS. Then they go in studio talking about them. I usually don’t complain about this stuff but this is a national broad at, no? A viewer not paying attention might not know who they are playing against. Skubal could to 8 and we lose in a walk off. I can envision so many scenarios but the hardest to shake is a rocking stadium in the late innings and a key base hit. Last games offense gives hope but I still have trouble forgetting the last month. I’m just going to enjoy it. Quote
romad1 Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Whenever the national networks small time the Tigers we seem to do really well. We are a proud ancient franchise. Burn all those down who disrespekt us! Quote

If we can't win with the best pitcher in baseball on the mound, we don't deserve it. Skubal will shut them down but who is gonna pitch against Toronto? I was really hoping we wouldn't even have to play a 5th ALDS game. Quote

IdahoBert Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Carp gets a strike right down the middle of the plate first pitch then a BABIP single. Quote
holygoat Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Kinda shocked that first pitch to Tork wasn't called a strike after Gleyber's AB. Quote
