Well in his defense, the subject of his ire is someone I have spent time with and he really did need to have his nose flattened. Dude was just a jerk. Haven’t seen him in years but is can’t imagine much changed.

He's a good dude, and I know he lurks here even if he doesn't post. Maybe this will drive him out of the shadows!

Tucker is not an elite talent, but he is very good and is significantly better than higginson especially when you put defense into the equation.  And if Tucker can finally stay healthy, he might still become elite.

Agreed, plus Higgy is ~55 now.  Even if he has kept in shape, no way are we're getting a full season out of him.

We had Ryan Raburn to pick up the slack.   You know,  while the team still was in striking distance Ryan couldn't hit a beach ball, but once they were way out of the race - He's an All Star

I am worried about that a bit with Colt Keith.    Dude, you need to hit in April and May at some point if you want to be an every day player.

Keith had an .881 OPS in May 2024 and an .838 OPS in May 2025.

I bet I'm not the only one who was drawn back to the Tigers and specifically onto the old board by the fast start to 2006. I signed up in June of that year I believe. 20 years now!

I joined in February of 2005. Got tired of all the trolls in newsgroups.

Yeah, some good times on the old forums. It was the father of a player who was on here and said..."dont make me come to Royal Oak to kick your ass." It was a part time outfielder....hazy memory...

How many rotations of the   Skubal-Flaherty-Valdez-Mize-Olson rotation will we get this year

What's the over/under that we get all five healthy for five consecutive games

I'll say   4.5

Oh yeah.

And we also had Grapes who would post a long post with no punctuation and mis-spellings that caused his words to make no sense and I would spend 10 minutes trying to figure out what he was saying that usually made no sense anyway and was sometimes racist or sexist when he did get a thought across from his rambling brain to his keyboard while many people argued with him so I always wondered if he was for real or just a troll. Whew...that's exhausting. 😅😅

I believe his given name was grapestastebasted.

Banda for the pen?

40 man crunch is real, unless Olson's injury is going to keep him out into June.

Also, taking on $1.625M might not be wise with the potential cap situation...

After barely paying attention to the late 90's era I was drawn back to the Tigers by the valiant 2003 rally to avoid 120 losses.   Been a full time again ever since.

Eric is a good guy. When he was in Missoula, he had part with some of his books and he sent me his best philosophy books.

I jumped on board after the fast start in 2004. I was familiar with Mlive, which was generally awful, and when I found this place, I’ve never looked back. Living 2000 miles from Detroit area media it was easy not to care. Thankfully, the aliens from Kepler-22b sent plans for the Internet to the Very Large Array and now I was re-connected.

Giving someone philosophy books is not necessarily a favor.....
