Hart Posted November 15 Posted November 15 (edited) So everything I felt after a few games has reversed, or appears to be wrong. Our bench should actually be a strength, not a weakness. The good vibes for Ron Holland are now kind of bad vibes. Duncan Robinson is actually a viable replacement for Malik Beasley, and maybe even more well rounded as a player. And Caris Levert is actually a decent rotation player and I can see why the Pistons chose him over bringing Hardaway back. Edited November 15 by Hart Quote
Deleterious Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Philly turned the defense up to 11 at halftime. Quote
Deleterious Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Stew got unlucky with his block on Grimes. He blocked the dunk but it sort of rolled in. Quote
Deleterious Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Lions must fly out tomorrow. Pretty sure I just saw Gibbs in the front row. Quote
Deleterious Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Good close to the quarter helped by the Jenkins half court prayer as time ran out. Quote
Deleterious Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Wendall Moore was on the street Monday. Tonight he is playing minutes down the stretch in a close game. Quote
papalawrence Posted November 15 Posted November 15 I've been a diehard fan since the early 70s. I don't recall such an unlikely week as this. So much fun to watch! Now they are off until Monday and hopefully the starters are back. 1 Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 15 Posted November 15 JB Bickerstaff is the Dan Campbell of the NBA. LOL Intense and his players play their arse off for him. 4 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted November 15 Posted November 15 32 assists. That's huge...winning is great but it's just an exciting team to watch. They go all out, full blast, all the time. 1 Quote

That's what I see too. Both coaches changed the culture. Philly looked winded and flat-footed in the 4th. Coach JB has them right. Intense D from start to finish, every player on the team. Even Duncan took a charge. Quote
Hart Posted November 15 Posted November 15 It really is a next man up attitude that is permeating thru the team right now. I constantly hear this from Piston players when being interviewed. Credit to everybody that is part of the team. 1 Quote

NYLion Posted November 15 Posted November 15 (edited) Sign Jenkins like right now, that's it that's all. I really do like Sasser but he can't handle the ball and distribute like Jenkins does. I know it's a small sample size but he's exactly what they need at backup PG with his skillset and mentality. The Pistons are going to have an overcrowded roster if Ivey ever returns, they're ripe for a 2 or 3 for 1 trade down the road. Crazy that they're winning these games and winning them easily while Cade, Duren, Ausar, Harris etc. get much needed rest. They're functioning like one of those top teams that consistently load manage nagging injuries are still able to maintain a good record. It's kind of a surreal feeling not even two years after a 14 win season. I mean, think about how much of a low point they were at as recently as the Summer of 2024. What a wild turnaround. The NBA wants more competition for an all star game. Maybe invite far ends of benches to play for some game exposure to give their careers a boost? Quote
