So everything I felt after a few games has reversed, or appears to be wrong.  Our bench should actually be a strength, not a weakness.  The good vibes for Ron Holland are now kind of bad vibes.  Duncan Robinson is actually a viable replacement for Malik Beasley, and maybe even more well rounded as a player.  And Caris Levert is actually a decent rotation player and I can see why the Pistons chose him over bringing Hardaway back.

JB Bickerstaff is the Dan Campbell of the NBA.  LOL   Intense and his players play their arse off for him.

That's what I see too. Both coaches changed the culture. Philly looked winded and flat-footed in the 4th. Coach JB has them right. Intense D from start to finish, every player on the team. Even Duncan took a charge.

It really is a next man up attitude that is permeating thru the team right now.  I constantly hear this from Piston players when being interviewed.  Credit to everybody that is part of the team.

this is working out as the best case scenario for multiple players; Holland is the one guy who is not performing/getting better, and he's still just 20

props to Langdon too; he had a better Summer than I thought

Sign Jenkins like right now, that's it that's all. I really do like Sasser but he can't handle the ball and distribute like Jenkins does. I know it's a small sample size but he's exactly what they need at backup PG with his skillset and mentality. The Pistons are going to have an overcrowded roster if Ivey ever returns, they're ripe for a 2 or 3 for 1 trade down the road.

Crazy that they're winning these games and winning them easily while Cade, Duren, Ausar, Harris etc. get much needed rest. They're functioning like one of those top teams that consistently load manage nagging injuries are still able to maintain a good record. It's kind of a surreal feeling not even two years after a 14 win season. I mean, think about how much of a low point they were at as recently as the Summer of 2024. What a wild turnaround.

It's culture shock watching NBA players that are severely outmanned and fighting for their jobs play hard and hustle their butts off.

The NBA wants more competition for an all star game.  Maybe invite far ends of benches to play for some game exposure to give their careers a boost?

They are trolling us with these courts, right?

The only decent thing about that was that the jerseys were of a contrasting color rather than the same color as the court.
