Adullin Posted Friday at 04:24 AM Posted Friday at 04:24 AM Talk about getting mauled under the basket Quote
gehringer_2 Posted Friday at 04:30 AM Posted Friday at 04:30 AM Ausar probably would have been at least 2 pts in the second half. JB does needs to get the team to cool it with the officials. The reffing in the NBA sucks a lot, they can't let it get to them all the time. Quote
papalawrence Posted Friday at 04:34 AM Posted Friday at 04:34 AM FG % under 40, 3pt % under 20. Obviously hurts to lose Ausar and Duncan. If AD stays healthy and they eventually get Kyrie back, that's a play-in team. Tough loss. Played hard. Just couldn't shoot Quote
Deleterious Posted Friday at 04:46 AM Posted Friday at 04:46 AM The Pistons attempted 122 FG's compared to just 89 for Dallas. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted Friday at 01:14 PM Posted Friday at 01:14 PM The Pistons are a good shooter away from being totally elite. Some are available. Quote
Deleterious Posted Friday at 03:20 PM Posted Friday at 03:20 PM Last night was another data point on why you don't pay Duren. Harris not playing for whatever reason. Ausar ejected. Robinson out with an injury. Time for our guy looking for a big deal to step up. 0 points in the 3rd quarter. 0 points in the 4th quarter. 0 points in the OT. 1 1 Quote
Adullin Posted Friday at 05:05 PM Posted Friday at 05:05 PM So many shots missed in the end of that game. Quote
Betrayer Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM The Pistons could have shot better and that would have solved the issue, but this might have been the worst officiated game I've seen in years. Ref initiates contact with Ausar and so he tosses him. Should've just been one tech. Meanwhile Lebron basically arm wrestles a ref last week and doesn't get anything. That same ref gives JB a tech for pulling Cade off the court as they're heading to the locker room. That shot clock violation/non-possession call was bogus since Washington had both hands clutching the ball before dropping it. Same ref doesn't give JB the timeout as he's calling for it while standing right next to him on the sideline when Duren gets the rebound. Oh, and Duren was fouled big time on that rebound with AD draped all over him. Oh, and AD was standing out of bounds. At one point it was something like 21 to 7 on FTAs and Dallas wound up shooting something like 16 more than the Pistons even though we're the team always going to the paint. Someone check that ref's Fanduel account. What a joke. Quote

This team doesn't seem to be understand that bad calls happen all the time and at some point, you just need to let it go. Quote
Hart Posted yesterday at 01:47 AM Posted yesterday at 01:47 AM I don't really want to pay Duren either. At least see what is available at the deadline. The Pistons also should challenge Isaiah Stewart to control his emotions so we can play him 30 minutes a game. He needs to be a big part of our future. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM (edited) I'll say two things in Duren's defense: He's been durable, and he's only a month past his 22nd birthday. Well, maybe three - the year spent playing for Monty Williams was probably a waste of development time. Edited yesterday at 02:19 AM by gehringer_2 1 Quote

Hard to believe he’s in his 6th season. Quote
