Mr.TaterSalad Posted Thursday at 03:03 AM Posted Thursday at 03:03 AM With the season almost over for our Lions I think it is time to gear up for the offseason and start a thread for it. What do you want to see from our Lions this offseason? Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Friday at 05:09 PM Posted Friday at 05:09 PM I don't want to see or hear it but I think Montgomery will be traded. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago The Lions previously called on Maxx Crosby and the Raiders weren't interested. I have to imagine they will call again and see if anything has changed. The media reports sure make it sound like they have. If the Raiders fire Carroll and allow Spytek to blow it up, that's the piece that would fetch a pretty penny. I would send two 1sts and AQM for Crosby in a similar deal that got Parsons to Green Bay. Someone's going to have to Nancy Kerrigan Crosby first for Holmes to be interested. The guy has played in waaaay too many games throughout his career for Holmes to be interested. Too highly priced and not enough cap value that an injured player offers. I've given up on the idea of Brad making a splash move for now. I think something substantial needs to be done, but given where they are headed salary cap wise, I can't see Brad pulling the trigger on a player as highly paid as Crosby. You're more likely to have them run it back with Marcus Davenport than you are getting Crosby. Quote
sagnam Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) He’s ended the last 2 seasons having surgery, knee this year and ankle last year. Surgery in 2020 for a torn labrum too. Will be 29 heading into next season. Edited 10 hours ago by sagnam Quote

I don't think we can't say that he's injury proned in the same way Davenport or Paschal or Levi are injury proned. Quote
sagnam Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago He’s going to be 29 and had offseason surgery 3 times in the last 5 years. I think he’s trending it in the wrong direction. Quote
