This is the first time they’ve have looked like a football team in about a month.  In a game that is meaningless. Shoot the bears could lose and still get the 2 seed.  Not putting a lot of stock in this game. Bears look ready for next week. Lions finally showing up when it doesn’t matter is more frustrating than encouraging. Where was this the last month?

Monty could have stayed in bounds and sent it to the 2 min warning with a 2nd and 1. Instead he goes out of bounds. Then the bears wisely go offside and it’s 3rd and 10 with 7 secs off the clock.  Actually it’s worse. Intentional ground.  Brutal, brutal brutal Awareness by the entire operation.

I mean yay!....... but also, that sucks (draft position).  If we are going to miss the playoffs I like another year of a winning record and also getting a 4th place schedule for next year though.

Dan Miller’s call of the game winner. Somewhat subdued of course, as Miller went on to say after this clip that although this is the Lions’ 4th straight winning season, obviously not where they wanted to be.
