IdahoBert Posted Friday at 12:17 AM Posted Friday at 12:17 AM Oh boy, they’re celebrating the Dodgers ownership group on the game that Jason supposed to be announcing soon. It’s so moving I care so much about the ownership group… Quote
tiger2022 Posted Friday at 10:21 AM Posted Friday at 10:21 AM Chase Delauter had a nice mlb debut too. 3-5 with 2 home runs Quote
tiger2022 Posted Friday at 11:24 AM Posted Friday at 11:24 AM Anyone know why mlb decided it was a good idea to go up against the sweet 16 for opening day against NCAA basketball? Especially on Friday...mlb have all night games. Quote
lordstanley Posted Friday at 01:17 PM Posted Friday at 01:17 PM MLB.com used to offer one Free Game of the Day. I don’t see them doing that so far this year. Quote
IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 10:59 PM Posted yesterday at 10:59 PM By the way… I am in the correct thread… i’m watching the top of the 10th inning of the Pirates versus the Mets listening to the Pirates feed and the affection they have for Don Kelly is actually quite compelling. It makes me feel good to witness that. Quote

Probably several more that were8 missed. A horrible umpire. And watching that video? Twice Buckner says batter challenging the pitch. No, he isn't. He's challenging the call!! Yeah, I've noticed that too. They had some during ST but nothing since Opening Day. I wonder if it has something to do with ESPN taking over the distriibution? Quote

I hope it does force them to move on from Umpires that aren't very good. There are an enough guys who call a good game behind the plate, MLB has had no real need to keep the guys who don't. It's just been habit, but now it's a habit they have more motivation to fix. 1 Quote

It’s not like the umpire scorecards that have been around for years haven’t already been exposing Bucknor, Eddings and Laz Diaz. The union will protect them as always. Quote

These guys are costing teams games, players success and bottom line....lots of people lots of money... Quote
