Mazur and Raymond both turned 24 today. One of them has 324 points in the NHL.

Wings were back on their heels the last couple of minutes of the period, could easily have been 2-0. But Philly leads 1-0 after 1.

Was an awful play by Seider and Edvinsson on the goal, frustrating!

The Wings need to kill this penalty with 4:12 to go or it might be all she wrote.

Seider “goal” waved off for obvious offside. Wings played with desperation finally on that powerplay but Philly survived to intermission. Wings trail 3-0, no consistency.

55 minutes of crap, 3 minutes of excitement, then fizzles out for the last couple of minutes. 5-3 Philly final. The door was open for the Wings and they stumbled and crashed.

Gibson was not sharp on the second game of an away to home back to back. 

No more back to backs. No more excuses. No more margin for error.

And it shows up in March because when the stakes are higher and other teams play a little harder, the Wings have no reserve, no margin to raise their own game. Maybe McLellan is too good a regular season coach 🙄

This is a new low. How do you trail 3-0 and be outshot 14-5 in the 1st to a team that played the night before.

The sad reality is that the Wings have been a bottom 3 NHL team for a full quarter of the season now. 7-10-3 in past 20.

This team was proped up for a bulk of the season by Gibson and he had to be unbeatable for this team to win. I hate to say maybe next year because what’s there to look forward to? More of the same? Maybe a rookie who struggles because they didn’t play this season and will eventually get sent back to the AHL in favor of some average vet. Who am I kidding? I’ll watch next year too.
