Jason_R Posted Sunday at 12:45 AM Posted Sunday at 12:45 AM Mazur and Raymond both turned 24 today. One of them has 324 points in the NHL. Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 12:59 AM Author Posted Sunday at 12:59 AM Wings were back on their heels the last couple of minutes of the period, could easily have been 2-0. But Philly leads 1-0 after 1. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted Sunday at 01:16 AM Posted Sunday at 01:16 AM Was an awful play by Seider and Edvinsson on the goal, frustrating! Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 01:25 AM Author Posted Sunday at 01:25 AM I can’t remember the Wings’ last good chance. Fortunate it’s only 1-0. Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 01:44 AM Author Posted Sunday at 01:44 AM (edited) Another one through Gibson’s legs. Those can’t go in. Edited Sunday at 01:44 AM by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 01:45 AM Author Posted Sunday at 01:45 AM The Wings need to kill this penalty with 4:12 to go or it might be all she wrote. Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 01:47 AM Author Posted Sunday at 01:47 AM 3-0. Terrible. Same as Ottawa game. Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 01:55 AM Author Posted Sunday at 01:55 AM Seider “goal” waved off for obvious offside. Wings played with desperation finally on that powerplay but Philly survived to intermission. Wings trail 3-0, no consistency. Quote
1984Echoes Posted Sunday at 02:06 AM Posted Sunday at 02:06 AM They really are walking the swords edge... Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 02:31 AM Author Posted Sunday at 02:31 AM Tippett has made the Wings look silly tonight. Quote
Shinzaki Posted Sunday at 02:34 AM Posted Sunday at 02:34 AM I predict that Dylan Larkin will talk about how angry they are over how they played. 1 1 Quote
lordstanley Posted Sunday at 02:58 AM Author Posted Sunday at 02:58 AM 55 minutes of crap, 3 minutes of excitement, then fizzles out for the last couple of minutes. 5-3 Philly final. The door was open for the Wings and they stumbled and crashed. Quote

Jason_R Posted Sunday at 12:20 PM Posted Sunday at 12:20 PM Gibson was not sharp on the second game of an away to home back to back. No more back to backs. No more excuses. No more margin for error. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted Sunday at 12:29 PM Posted Sunday at 12:29 PM 7 hours ago, buddha said: theyre just not good enough. And it shows up in March because when the stakes are higher and other teams play a little harder, the Wings have no reserve, no margin to raise their own game. Maybe McLellan is too good a regular season coach 🙄 Quote
lordstanley Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago This is a new low. How do you trail 3-0 and be outshot 14-5 in the 1st to a team that played the night before. Quote
lordstanley Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago The sad reality is that the Wings have been a bottom 3 NHL team for a full quarter of the season now. 7-10-3 in past 20. Quote
sagnam Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago This team was proped up for a bulk of the season by Gibson and he had to be unbeatable for this team to win. I hate to say maybe next year because what’s there to look forward to? More of the same? Maybe a rookie who struggles because they didn’t play this season and will eventually get sent back to the AHL in favor of some average vet. Who am I kidding? I’ll watch next year too. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Blow it up. Just blow it all up. Start over. Again. Quote
