romad1 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago we are overdue for a sweep against a division opponent. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago In this series, the starting pitchers will be Valdez, Flaherty, then Montero. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago This will be the first of 13 games in a row without a day off, and none of these games will be played in an indoor stadium to protect from inclement or unpredictable weather. The old adage “you can never have enough pitching“ will definitely be true. Sounds like a real slog, even for fans, let alone for the players. Quote
kdog Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Good test for the righty centric lineup...Jones, Vierling, Baez, Tork are on the spot. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’m going to miss at least the first hour of this game - and probably more - because it conflicts with a long-standing doctors appointment. GO TIGERS! Quote
IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago By the way, Wednesday’s afternoon “getaway“ game against the Royals is on Peacock, which now has the right to what used to be the mlb.tv “free game of the day.“ So it’s no longer a “free game” if you subscribe to mlb.tv. About 90 minutes after the game ends you can watch it on mlb.tv. I don’t know how this affects Detroit Sportsnet users, though. EDIT. A quick Google search tells me that Detroit sports net users will not be able to access this game. In fact, there are 16 games that you will no longer have access to at least live. National Exclusivity: At least 16 Tigers games in 2026 are slated for national-only broadcasts through MLB partners like Peacock, NBC, Fox, and TBS. I don’t know how true all this is because the Internet lies a lot now because it’s run by stupid robots that are programmed by oligarchs who no longer have to care because they have absolute power.
