very polite of the Tigers to let the Royals bullpen take off pitching 9th innings.

Twice, twice when a call was being reviewed and it was obvious what the call would be Jason persisted with “but is there enough to overturn it” when there obviously wasn’t. I don’t know if he wants to build suspense or what but that’s not the way to do it.

BTW, here to say Javy’s slide was arguably the difference between winning and losing. For sure, it’s the reason we’re celebrating a win at this very moment instead of watching yet another inning.

Awesome slide by Baez, but Perez's home run was also the difference.

That 42 looks really noble on everybody’s back, but for some reason, it looks best on McGonigle’s back. I don’t know why, maybe I’m just partial.

Whoa. Reminds me of Indiana as a kid. Nothing will ever compare to the Palm Sunday tornadoes in 1965. In Northeast Indiana we were without power or water for three days. We suffered no damage, but the infrastructure we were connected to was completely disrupted. If we got tapwater, we were told to boil it and fortunately, we had a gas stove.

Glad Detroit is relatively “safe.“

That’s when two tornadoes went through Manitou Beach / Devils Lake, not far from Coldwater, within like 2 or 3 hours of each other.  There was action from that front in Toledo, too.  My dad remembers living not far from the path of a tornado there.

Without Perez's home run, we are still watching baseball now too.  Maybe not me!  But everyone else would be.

Gotta say though, that right fielder for KC has a cannon for an arm. Gotta be careful running on him. Javy is quick and that was a medium/deep fly ball Jake hit. Woulda been out without a magician slide.

well, they had one triple and the Tigers had one three base error of a type that scorers don't count.
