gehringer_2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago very polite of the Tigers to let the Royals bullpen take off pitching 9th innings. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago What a bizarre half-inning. A near walk-off pick off and then a balk. I don't think Kenley's available tomorrow afternoon (if there's even a game). Quote
chasfh Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Los four straight, win five straight. Easy peasy. Tigers are now 9-9. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Twice, twice when a call was being reviewed and it was obvious what the call would be Jason persisted with “but is there enough to overturn it” when there obviously wasn’t. I don’t know if he wants to build suspense or what but that’s not the way to do it. 1 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Tigers 5 game home stand winning streak, we've given up 0, 1, 2, 1, 1 runs. A top 5 pitching staff.... 1 Quote

Sports_Freak Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago That Logan guy is OK. It took a while to accept him but yeah, he's alright Quote

BTW, here to say Javy’s slide was arguably the difference between winning and losing. For sure, it’s the reason we’re celebrating a win at this very moment instead of watching yet another inning. Awesome slide by Baez, but Perez's home run was also the difference. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago That 42 looks really noble on everybody’s back, but for some reason, it looks best on McGonigle’s back. I don’t know why, maybe I’m just partial. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Yeah, the guy that caught Perez’s home run that was pretty darn endearing. Talk about happy as heck. Quote

In Northeast Indiana we were without power or water for three days. We suffered no damage, but the infrastructure we were connected to was completely disrupted. If we got tapwater, we were told to boil it and fortunately, we had a gas stove. We drove further north several days later and many of the small lake communities in Northeast Indiana were completely obliterated with every lake house completely demolished, and the only thing still standing was the bathroom fixtures. We drove up to Coldwater Michigan, and the devastation was honestly unspeakable. 44 people died there. Glad Detroit is relatively “safe.“ That’s when two tornadoes went through Manitou Beach / Devils Lake, not far from Coldwater, within like 2 or 3 hours of each other. There was action from that front in Toledo, too. My dad remembers living not far from the path of a tornado there. 1 Quote

Tenacious D Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Bert conflicted—nice to get the win, but you couldn’t scratch out 6 measly runs? Quote

Gotta say though, that right fielder for KC has a cannon for an arm. Gotta be careful running on him. Javy is quick and that was a medium/deep fly ball Jake hit. Woulda been out without a magician slide. Quote
