I don’t know what the technical issue regarding Apple TV and local radio is, but t’s really interesting listening to the producer talk with the talent while the mic is purportedly cold. He was just debating with Dan and Dan that Tigers should have walked Yoshida to get to Wong and set up the force at home. Dickerson disagreed outright, and Petry reminded the producer that A.J. doesn’t like to walk hitters, anyway.

Fake win for the Red Sox.  I stiil can not get myself to care much about the extra inning games.  I mean I'd rather see them win than lose, but as soon as it became impossible for the Tigers to win in regulation, I Iost interest in following the game.

Loss. Playing a raw rookie at 3rd base on his ML debut wasn't the smartest move by Hinch. He had multiple options...

He's a third baseman, would you have preferred he play right field or first base?

Questioning intentional walks? Yesterday's game was screaming for an intentional walk to the LH Keith to get to the RH Tork. I'm still amazed it wasn't done. Glad, but wondering why...

Reminiscent of the old days of catching backhaul feeds via satellite.

I have no idea what you're even talking about.

I'm talking about shaky defense at 3rd base. Hinch had several options rather than putting an inexperienced AAA rookie out there. It ended up not mattering much but it very well could have been a disaster. His defense looked very shaky.

His defense did look shaky.  I was surprised Lee was called up, I figured it would have been Jung.  But, if Lee (RHH) was called up, you're not going to use him vs a LHP?  Come on.....

Lee was my dark horse choice to come north with the team. He was pretty clearly in over his head during this particular game. We’ll see how he does next time.

To be honest, I would have used Keith at 3rd. He was already resting Riley. And Keith has been pretty good. Would Lee's bat be much better than Keith's? IDK, but offensively, we stunk. It looks like that 10th inning throw Lee didnt catch from Dingler really didnt matter, the runner looked safe. But a totally raw rookie may not have been the best idea to start. Hindsight....

Why is everybody talking about me? You ask me how I am doing and then you tell me I am not ready.  What's going on?

Because your WAR in last night's game was a -0.6.

In general, yes, I don't mind Keith getting some more time vs LHPs.  However, they just called Lee up.  They're playing, what 13 in a row?  They're going to give position players a day off or two during this stretch.  You've got a point about resting both Keith and Greene in the same game.

He had a bad game in a 0-1 loss.  If he had a net zero game, nobody squawks.
