IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 4–2 bottom of the eighth. You know, all it would take for the universe to be in perfect symmetry would be two more runs. Quote

diaspora04 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Still dealing with a sample size, but McGonigle has been very impressive at the plate. Quote

I still feel fortunate to have been watching the game of the Tigers against the Yankees when Hank Aguirre lofted a ball with the bases loaded and with the infield drawn in because he was the worst hitter in the world, to triple in three runs into the monuments. I could’ve read that but to see it on TV was freaking unreal, historic. As I remember, he loped around the bases because he wasn’t a particularly fast runner, go figure… 1 1 Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago You can hear it coming down the street. You can hear the squeak in the breaks with every stop. It's rolling closer. Two blocks away now Quote

Kaline had a monster season at age 20, 8.2 WAR, Batting title, 967 OPS, MVP runner up. but it was not his rookie season, it was his *second* full season. In his rookie yr Kaline had a nice season, was 3rd in ROY voting, but 650 OPS and 1.2 WAR. McGonigle on a pace to top easily if he stays on it. Edited 2 hours ago by gehringer_2 Quote
IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Nine pitches for Kenley to get the second out… and he’s all smiles. He’s not worried one bit. I love this guy. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Kenley is really working to get out of this inning Quote
