I’d like to think it’s because they realize Detroit viewers have lost their appetite for transparently staged bull****, but who knows?

Look man, Harang was the best pitcher the reds had for like 10 years in the 00’s. Back then if you had an era under 5 on reds staff you were killing it. It was also the steroid era.

if it makes you tigers fans feel Any better I’m in Vegas for Phish at the sphere last night and I placed my first ever sports bet on the game today. Two leg parlay - reds win moneyline + over 9.5 runs scored total. So im About to walk to Caesars to cash out.

I can accept the idea that the Reds were so bad during that era that they had to somehow identify the tallest midget to honor, but if it was the steroids era’s fault that they had no choice but to honor a four-plus ERA, at least his ERA+ would be closer to 115 or 120 than 103.
