Yeah but how many would have made it with the expanded playoff we have today? A bit of an apple to oranges comparison

The 1973 Mets also made it to the World Series.  They lost the World Series in 7 games to the Oakland Athletics.  The Tigers are playing the ATHs tonight.  At this point of this season, I’ll take a guaranteed trip to the World Series even if it meant losing in 7.  Is that a full circle?

Wow, Willie Mays was on that team and played in the World Series.  This Clark kid is probably what Sparky Anderson would suggest is the next Willie Mays.  Morans,….. another full circle.

If this team somehow makes it the World Series, then that probably means there was incredible entertainment along the weay.  I'll take that.

I would take it in a flash.  A load of fun.    Though probably setup for a let down im as giddy as an old man can be to see a kids debut.   Sort of like McG this spring.

When it came online, it started showing the A’s and then it switched over to our feed. For me at least.

I hope Max doesn’t have trouble with the sunlight in centerfield. I remember spring training and it’s unfair to judge him on the basis of that, but man, I sure don’t want to see a repeat.
