Some silence during the game is OK. No need to fill the time babbling and giggling. Yeah, it gets to be a bit too much at times. I found the A's TV crew to be less heavy on analytics, but more enjoyable overall for me. Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Melton with seven shut out innings. Let’s not let this one get away from us. I didn’t come home from seeing the Dodgers lose after eating four gigantic slices of New York style pizza, and two slices of Bundt cake, and two caffeine free Diet Cokes to see the relief corps falter. The early inning highlights at MLB.com are enough to give me an idea of what uniforms they're wearing, size of the crowd, weather conditions. Dan Dickerson fills in the play by play details. After more than half a century of following baseball, my imagination can take it from there. I sometimes babble and giggle too much as well, but only to myself. Quote

They are for the casual fan who doesn’t tune in every night. When thinking of it from that standpoint Jason and whoever he’s with each night are entertaining. My wife who doesn’t watch every night found that last conversation hilarious and I just tuned it out. Quote
