  1. Past hour
  2. Pretty sure we're all doubtful about Joel Embiid at this point.
  3. billy donovan just hit the market. he'll be orlando's first call. another big possibility is the knicks. mike brown could be out real quick if they get bounced in rounds 1 or 2 and someone with donovan's resume is available (overrated resume, imo, but a resume nonetheless). milwaukee is a poisoned chalice. theyre going to dump giannis and be bad for a while.
  4. "this is something i didnt think i would have to be talking about." you dont have to talk about it. you chose to go on tv and talk about it because theyre paying you a lot of money.
  5. 1) it doesnt matter what happens this year because theyre going to pay duren. hope for continued growth. 2) i'm not sure they are focusing more on duren than just packing the lane because the pistons cant shoot, and taking away the pick and roll. that's not "focusing on duren" to me and rather focusing on taking away a huge part of DETROIT'S offense. you can say that's just as much focusing on cade. the dofference being cade is able to do other things. duren is only able to roll to the basket and get lobs from cade. he cant create his own shot. he cant score when other teams set out to stop the pistons pick and roll. 3) if they really are "focusing on duren", it shows how easy it is to stop him. as opposed to cade. to me that shows duren as a replaceable player, not an irreplaceable max contract player.
  6. That is not the woman you lose a $5 million a year job over.
  7. Rough season for Williams.
  8. How are the Reds 16-9 with a -2 run differential?
  9. Great hire for Milwaukee IMO. But I'm shocked he didn't wait. You know one or two playoff teams will end up firing their coach and those jobs will probably be better than the Bucks job. Orlando being one of them if they fire Mosley. But what do I know.
  10. Today
  11. well they both struggled with being old apparatchiks.
  12. “NOBODY PUTS TORK IN A CORNER!“
  13. Trade up for Reuben Bain
  14. Currently….. McGonigle is tied for 2nd in the AL in doubles, tied for 1st in triples, 2nd in WAR and 6th in batting average.
  15. A VERY unexpected homer from Tork is indeed a pleasant surprise. Me Happy.
  16. The post game press conference seemed to come quicker than usual. I think they’re intent on getting the heck out of town. The one thing that was the usual is once again the audio was no better than two boys stringing Campbell’s tomato soup cans by a wire between their respective homes and barking into them.
  17. Spencer Torkelson shows us flashes of brilliance. I just wish he was more consistent more than once or twice a week.
  18. I'm thinking its a prime time for school groups right now. That may be a driver. Plus Skubal pitching is a draw
  19. I didn’t realize this was Spencer‘s first career walk off home run.
  20. 25,000 and change for a getaway afternoon game in Detroit not bad really.
  21. I was listening to this on the radio in my car and when I heard Dan’s voice shouting “it could be” I already started celebrating. The tigers should be able to score some runs in that band box in Cincinnati and it’s further south so it should be warmer too. It could be a fun series.
  22. Looks like more Konstantin Chernenko stuff there lol
  23. proctor's got issues. no thank you.
  24. I know that I'm basically preaching to the choir here, but IMO we need to find a way to get Big Money out of politics. Citizens United opened the door to a lot of the mess we're seeing now. Too many PACs, who knows how much dark money. There has to be a way to police this. Personally I'd start taxing contributions over $1,000 at 75%, no business contributions allowed what so ever.
