Kodi has an mlb.tv add on that allows you to sync the audio and video. I have not tried it so I can't say how well it works but might be a solution for those who are DD fans.

I went to buy some new shoes last night. As I pulled into my driveway coming home, listening to Dan over 97.1, not my app, he called the Perez HR. I left my blinds open and didn't park in the garage so I could see the TV in the window with the game on. It was two pitches behind. That was regular DSN thru Xfinity. I just assume that with each tech layer you add on that it's expected to get a delay. I do not have a plugged in over the air radio in my house so this was the first time in a long while I've checked a broadcast vs TV. I bet if I had the radio feed on my phone thru the app it would be closer? I even get different syncs between TV's in my house. My main TV and a bedroom TV thru a roku connection are off. The ROku TV has a cable box plugged into it.

After looking at the mlb.tv app apparently when it’s a weekday game and on Peacock, you can also watch it there so I guess it’s not exclusive. I guess it’s just the Sunday games that are exclusive.

Hello Tiger Fans, I was reading the McGonigle thread and I noticed a lot of talk about the youth movement on the position side going on in Detroit. Where does that leave Greene and Tork? Both are having subpar starts to the season. Greene seemed like he was on the precipice of greatness a couple years ago but last year, even though he was an all star, his numbers took a dive compared to the year prior. As a Reds fan watching the worst OF in baseball night in and night out - what would it take to get Greene from Detroit right now? Or is he not someone they would move? Tigers seem like they need bullpen, right?

Listen, I’m not trying to start a fight. I got the impression that you are singling out the tigers as being the only team that doesn’t care to fix the sync issue. In view of your established disdain for Benetti and preference for Dan, I can see how this would be irksome to you. I don’t think this is the case. You did say the other teams don’t have this issue. I disagree because I continue to experience this problem on other broadcasts. But if it were the case, I think it’s fair to infer that you think the tigers and mlb have the means to address it and are choosing not to. I admit to being a bit fanciful in how I worded that earlier. Sorry.

My father is catholic. He also is in an advanced state of dementia. At the nursing home, they ask him cognitive questions. He couldn’t answer what year it is, what month it is, what city he lives in, but when they asked who the president is, he answered without hesitation Trump and followed it with he’s ruining this country, I hate that guy.

I wasn’t trying to be clever by not mentioning him by name. I thought it was very obvious. It’s Ohtani. Mike Trout could maybe be thought of in some regard 9 or 10 years ago. Even his prime is nowhere close to the total package that we are seeing from Ohtani. To pivot back to Trout, what a crazy first 3 weeks to start the year. On fire for the first week, a hitless strikeout machine in week two, then even hotter than he started in week 3. I’m excited to find out what happens with him next week.
