People who pressure/guilt trip others into taking alcoholic shots or drinking more than they would like. For professional and health reasons, I establish limits and shouldn't have to justify turning down a liquor shot.3 points

So... the NFL allows trick plays... I mean why not? They're some of the most fun plays to watch and as long as they follow the rules they should be legal, so yeah... trick plays are a good thing. The NFL also acknowledges that trick plays can be confusing, even for the refs. This is why (according to Rex Ryan) part of the pre-game procedure is the coaching staff of each team going over what it may be doing during the game with the officials, including trick plays and diagraming them so that it's clear to the officials.3 points

This is a big one. I feel like the tide is turning. Maybe because I am older but I know a lot of people who just don’t drink anymore. on a similar subject… hugging. Don’t ask people to hug. Not everybody is an hugger. Figure it out. If they side hug you then learn that they aren’t into that. Especially younger girls. Don’t even initiate it with them. I just ran into this last night. A 40 something repeatedly asking a 7 year old for a hug. Nothing malicious about it but it needs to be taught that we all have to understand that when girls say no then accept it. That will help them late on. They will learn they can say no.2 points

Michigan took the opening kickoff. JJ appeared to get picked off on 1st play but Alabama defender had stepped out of bounds. Then ended up being a 3 and out. Alabama gets the ball to start the 2nd half.1 point

I wish you guys a lot of luck today. For as much **** that I give, I honestly hope that Michigan can win today and next week. Enjoy these days as it seems inevitable this time that Harbaugh is really leaving. Add that with the changing conference and no longer having a cakewalk schedule and it could be a long, long time before Michigan is in this position again.1 point

Maybe I'll be wrong. I was wrong about Trey Lance. The ownership rumor is manufactured and will never happen. I believe I had read that his dad was who started it though, later clarifying that it's just Caleb's goal to be a partial owner after retirement. It's his dad, not him, but it does seem to be putting the cart before the horse if that's a mentality he actually has. I will also say that I could be misremembering, because I can't find the report now...... To be clear, I don't care about the manicured nails. Not one iota... Painting "**** Utah" on the nails though isn't a manicure though, it's just stupid, especially when you go 0-3 in your career against Utah. Is he going to paint "**** lions" on them if he's drafted by the Bears? It's just immature IMO... You're right that he deserves credit for behaving reasonably with that moron fan, but it was the "everybody wants to be in these 12 1/2s" that made me cringe. Again, maybe I'll be wrong.1 point

The ownership rumor is 100% made up Twitter bs. It’s completely against NFL rules and wouldn’t be allowed anyway. Gimme a break on the manicure stuff. You aren’t that soft. That’s not a big deal, cmon on now. The video you played is ridiculous. He was a stand up guy and did nothing when a fan ran up on him after the game and pulled some total classless bs trying to clown him. Caleb doesnt push him or touch him as we’ve seen many times in similar situations with other players. He does the absolute right thing and gets **** for it.1 point

the pistons are completely uninteresting now. before there was a story, now there is just ambivalence and failure.1 point

Right on both counts. A) The NFL will never have a minor league. (Of course the truth of that statement is exactly the source my abstract concerns about professionalizing college FB!) b). Hockey is weird sport. I'm a fan and I still often find myself wondering why I'm watching such an odd activity.1 point

I don't love the idea of playing the Rams in the wildcard, but it's the playoffs. They aren't supposed to be easy. If the playoff picture ends as expected and the wildcards are the Cowboys, Rams, and Seahawks, there is not an easy out in that field. Ford Field will be rocking no matter who the opponent is, we just have to hope the offense takes care of the ball and Barnes finishes his tackles.1 point

**** their apologies. I'm ****ing sick of the league apologizing to the Lions. I hope the Lions can use it and shove it right up the league's ass.1 point

The procedure is fine. It's Brad Allen - and any official who could make such a boneheaded mistake and then lie about it afterwards - that needs fixing.1 point

As a Democrat who has donated to Democratic candidates and only voted for a Republican once in my entire life (in New Mexico in 1996 because the Democratic candidate was a bad candidate and the Republican was pretty Center - at the time), I am getting really pissed off that I have never been invited to drink the blood of sacrificed children. I just turned 59 years old a few days ago and I am tired and I need that to feel young again. Look, I'm not switching parties or anything extreme, but I have never EVER been invited to their blood-drinking ritual and I want to know why ! Plus, I got COVID and was not invited to fake my death to live out the rest of my life on the secret giant luxury island that trillionaire George Soros owns, you know the one........the REAL reason that planes don't fly over the south Pacific, so nobody can see it.......yeah, that one.1 point

Checked out a pawn shop during lunch yesterday and saw a black sparkle Squire Tele with dual humbuckers behind the counter. The clerk quoted me $176, so I asked to try it out. I immediately noticed that it had been smartly modded with Fender locking tuners, Graph Tech nut and string trees and an upgraded bridge. Played on it long enough to determine that it was solid, then bought it. When I got home, a quick check under the control plate revealed upgraded CTS pots and a Sprague Orange Drop cap, all well soldered with braided wiring. Seriously, the upgrades are worth almost as much as a stock version of this guitar, and whoever did the work knew what he was doing. The switch and pups appear to be stock, but it sounds pretty good, and for a sub-$200 guitar, I can justify upgrading them later. I love this thing.1 point
