  1. I wouldn’t retire his jersey quite yet. Once he hits waivers, he’ll be back.
  2. Wasn't it originally "officially" determined to be a back injury? I could be mistaken, but I thought I heard that was the ruling and then the Dolphins/NFL kind of tiptoed away from that prognosis over time.
  3. Oh, so you contributed to the ratings?
  4. He's like a poor man's Mike Knappoli.
  5. When will that 18th game be introduced? Obviously the teams & players were in a bad spot last night. But the TV crews, particularly the studio crew who I thought were ready to just walk away at a few points. Booger McFarland said it best, just put some other programming on and cancel the game.
  6. I guess I have a hard time believing the 2025 Detroit Tigers have a majority of its roster within the organization right now. Harris hasn't done enough on the player side to make me think he's got enough of his imprint on it that that we can project past two full seasons of play to see what that next roster will look like.
  7. Should'of worn your mask.
  8. Detroit Pistons vs Portland Trail Blazers
  9. How prolific was Phil Nevin?
  10. From 12-0 to 12-2. That was the last season of Legends & Leaders so the B1G Championship game was the only meeting that season between OSU & MSU.
  11. The result vs Georgia stinks, but I'm fine with the game. Hell, down WR1, RB1 & RB2 going into the game, losing WR2 and TE1 during the game and OSU still held their own against the presumptive best team in CFB? Can't blame the missed field goal either, that wasn't a chip shot by any means. There were so many compelling plays that if they just tipped the other way. Bowers stretching for the first and Smart getting the time out just in time before the successful fake field goal stand out to me. If anything, the Peach Bowl just makes me wonder more what the heck happened vs Michigan.
  12. Literally a matador defense.
  13. I wonder who had the under of 60.5 on UM-TCU?
  14. Seems like there are better ways to spend time.
  15. Would employing a moratorium on the portal during the season solve that issue? Same for coaching staff changes during bowl season? I guess it doesn't stop under the table and behind the scenes dealings, but does perfect become the enemy of better? Then I guess there is the little problem with no real true governing body for college football, so who is going to enforce anything anyway?
  16. I guess I don't see how this makes things better? Maybe I am missing something.
  17. You should try being less miserable. Just for like, I don't know, maybe try it for 5 minutes.
  18. Hittin' & Hurlin' Harold is still wading through his offers.
  19. I understand why kids are doing it, but its just tough to watch games with guys pulling themselves out for the draft. There was a mid game interview with a couple of guys during a game yesterday, and I think the broadcast actually missed a play or two while the interview was going on. I understand why they are doing it, and yes, its the same sort of deal as coaches moving on to other teams before bowl games.
  20. The irony here is that Harris mentioned wanting a LHH IF and RHH OF whereas Kim is a RHH IF and Grisham is a LHH OF. Although given the state of the Tiger roster, beggars can't be choosers. Grisham appears to be a buy low with bounce back potential type of candidate. He is slightly above on both SO% and BB% over his career with a noticeable dip in BABIP in 2022. SO% was a bit higher in 2022 than vs his career. He has a couple of gold gloves to his credit, so that would certainly be helpful. Arbitration years for the next 3 seasons. Kim improved from 2021 to 2022, so more there is more of a bump going into 2023? Its possible there was just a period of getting used to MLB. Whatever the reason, he SOs less than MLB average, BBs at the same clip, and appears to be a reasonably good defender. $7M next season, $8M the season after next. Would there be any way to pull Cronenworth into a deal? He doesn't play much SS, so maybe San Diego isn't much interested in him anymore. LHH IF that is the control the strike zone type that Harris mentioned. 3 more arbitration seasons and last season appears to be a valley for him, which would have been a silver slugger season for the Tigers.
  21. Detroit Pistons vs Minnesota Timberwolves (Buddha enjoying the Pistons at Bulls)
  22. You were in a suite with a bar. It was a competitive game until the final 2 minutes. No Killian Hayes, but Andre Drummond got some yelling in and some made free throws. Congrats, you had a hell of a night.
  23. Seems aggressive to to think either would be on the Opening Day roster. Even at that, I agree, I wouldn’t consider OF is an organizational strength, certainly not at the upper levels. I really wouldn’t consider any non pitching cross section of the upper levels to be a strength.
