I’d lead Ibanez off to try to draw some instant pressure. Plus, once Boyd is out (which might be quick), Ibanez’ mastery of LHP is kind of useless after that. The Guardians have Herrin in the pen, but I think he’s been shaky enough to not worry about so much. Follow Ibanez up with Malloy who seems to enjoy playoff offense. I’d be comfortable with him staying in the game vs RHPs. Greene? Sure. Or Vierling. But I think Greene because I expect Malloy/Greene/Vierling to play the entire game. Go LRLR at the top 4 once Boyd leaves and Ibanez is replaced. Perez at 5? Is he playing the whole game? Rogers or Torkleson at 6 with the other 8th? It seems foolish to think Madris might flex in as a PH for one of these two spots given his time off, but it just might happen. Maybe McKinstry replaces Torkelson (McKinstry to 3B, Vierling to 1B) sometime after a RHP shows up? Carpenter 7th and Sweeney 9th? I’d imagine these guys play the whole game, too.

Yes, that could very well be an issue in game 5. Its tough to argue with how Hinch/Fetter & Co have handled the pitching down the stretch. But in a 5 game series with so much reliance on a few key RPs, Cleveland gets a few looks at them and maybe gains enough from that. On the flip side, Cleveland has logged a lot of RP innings as well. But I just don't know if I can honestly equate the two bullpens vs opposing lineups to each other over 5 games.

I'm not sure how the trio as whole is dealt with. Its easy to say the Ilitch family has 2 of the 3, so figure it out. I would imagine they've done some homework on it already. Maybe the Tigers reside on MLB temporarily while the Pizza Pizza network is being berthed.
