Is he related to NoVax Djokovic?

He left.

I would have voted for most of you fools on here rather than vote for Trump. Trump is straight putrid trash, the kind of decrepit human being that the good book decries, but somehow or another has a following amount the “Christian” right.

The pitch clock has been experimented for, what, 4 or 5 seasons now? They ain’t implementing it. They’ll change the color of the stitching on the ball or some other asinine thing that won’t amount to diddly pooh.- 1,851 replies

There's too much nonaction in a baseball game, and I would argue that too many home runs are a part of it. I think there are other more significant contributors to the nonaction, but the proliferation of the 3 true outcomes (I think that's what all the cool kids call it these days) has sucked a lot of action out of the game.- 1,851 replies

01/11/2022 08:00 EST Detroit Pistons @ Chicago Bulls
casimir replied to casimir's topic in Detroit Pistons
It starts with me. I half assed the game thread, I was tired from the back-to-back game threads, I had to flip home & road, and then I sloppily put a picture of players looking squarely at the Bulls' logo. I put this one on me. I need to come out stronger on Friday. -

They tried pitch clocks in the minors a few seasons ago. What kind of impact has that had on the majors?- 1,851 replies

Exactly what are they actively doing to try to speed it up? Runner on 2nd to start extra innings? This affects only a fraction of games, and its already taken 3 1/2 hours of step offs, step outs, and scratching to get to that point. 7 inning doubleheaders? Again, only a handful of games, and that experiment is done anyway. They aren't actively doing anything.- 1,851 replies

Maybe I missed it, but wouldn’t MLB (or any league) be reluctant to speed the game up if it’s getting revenue off of gambling? The slower a game, the more action during it, the more revenue from it?- 1,851 replies

Surely the media created a hologram of his image and voice that delivered that message. Where’s Stan when we need him to explain this to us?

Yes, about Saget. My wife and kids were watching the funny videos show, and ABC broke into the very ending of it when they announce the winner with this special report. And then when the short special report was over, they returned to the show. So, laughs laughs laughs, quick special report about a death, then return to laughs. I guess I understand the special report attached to that show considering his relationship with it. But at the very very very end seemed a little more appropriate.

Garza to the GL and Bol as the backup C with Lyles as the backup PF?

It’ll be over by Easter.

Remember the time Willie Blair wanted to start being referred to as Guillermo Blair? Good times.

Needed someone to eat innings. Gosh, remember the Randy Wolf as a Tiger era? Holy smokes, that was fun.
