  1. Its more than just both of you that know that.
  2. Yeah, yeah, uphill both ways. OK, boomer.
  3. But if moving Keith to 2B was about his arm and a planned return to 3B, then why hasn't Jung been moved off of 3B? I suppose they keep this going if there's some progression, be it small if at all. And maybe there's still some concern that Keith might not be able to move back to 3B.
  4. And while we're parsing statements, Trump's statement about not having or needing another election after this one cannot be highlighted enough between now and when it should be offered up as the first question in the next presidential debate. The debate can be focused on that single question for all that I care. Toss that one to Trump, and let him explain it. Make it absolutely crystal clear that he needs to expound on that particular comment. Because its either with obvious nefarious intent given the backdrop of January 6, or he's the doddering old drunk uncle fool that he quite simply is. And, actuall, probably both is true.
  5. That's a fair point. But I think he's earning more of those situations.
  6. I would contend he may or may not have taken a bullet. That's fair to debate. I would contend he's not doing anything for democracy. He's in this for himself. That's not debatable.
  7. Ha! I think it’s safe to say I had no idea what you were talking about. 😆
  8. I’ve been called all sorts of things that I’m not, so I’m not that worried about it.
  9. It’s not just the chatter about Jung at 3B. It’s the sub .900 fielding percentage, too. Now, we understand fielding percentage isn’t an end all be all by itself. But under .900? That’s awfully eye opening.
  10. Speaking of children, I saw this mid game. Carlos Santana was on deck. He spotted a youngster and went over and gave him knuckles. Same at bat, and there was a foul tip. He motioned for the ball, and passed it on to his newest fan. That’s good stuff there.
  11. I like that Keith is getting his chance vs LHPs. He’s locked in, let’s see what he can do, let him learn lessons now. Unfortunately this probably cuts into Ibanez a bit, but he can face LHPs as the 1Bdude for now.
  12. Maybe doesn’t cut it around here. Full credit only for full predictions.
  13. Can you smell what the Casimir was cooking? Eat it, Twerps.
  14. Name rhymes with Henta Haeda?
  15. I prefer clobbering the snot out of them, but that’s just me.
  16. But it sounds like he’s failing or at least not passing 3B as well.
  17. Yeah, I guess it doesn’t much matter to me whether the wound is direct or indirect. He was shot at it. And more importantly, the whole episode did result in an innocent victim losing his life.
  18. So what’s up with 3B?
  19. Ain’t so.
  20. Team handball. If it is broadcast, watch you some.
  21. What does "just a catch the ball guy" mean exactly?
  22. It probably was one of the best stretches in terms of winning percentage in franchise history. Its tough to compare that era to others based on things like division titles or playoffs appearances because the landscape is different. Not to discredit Dombrowski, but Ilitch deserves some credit for opening up the purse strings during that time. That allowed Dombrowski to take some bigger swings at players. When MartinezV was lost for the season, Ilitch ponied up for Fielder as an example. That's a move that most ardent baseball followers would associate with the Yankees or Dodgers, and probably be angered by it, too.
  23. I also wonder about Keith at 3B as well. I thought I’ve heard Jung is better at 2B. I don’t know if that’s true, I don’t know if the theory of swapping them has legitimacy to it. I think if Jung is promoted and they’re on the IF at the same time, just keep going with status quo to finish this season. Just let them get this bit of MLB under their belts, continue this season with their respective defensive responsibilities, let their bats be the focus of their development this season. If altering them is in the cards, let them integrate some of that individual off-season prep into their upcoming winters, and start that teamwork in spring training. And maybe it’s not that big of a deal for either anyway as they do have experience around the diamond.
  24. Damnit, it was fun whilst it lasted.
  25. I see you, Tigermojo, I see you.
