  1. If they can do it to John Dillinger, they can do it to you.
  2. You gotta be careful near those open windows.
  3. He chooses his female associates by their appearance, which is why I am always surprised that he lets MTJ stand so close to him, she is such a dog.
  4. Learn to do it correctly when you are 10.
  5. I didn't care much for Grossman's comments. Presumably the same people who didn’t help him this year also didn’t help him last year when he played well. Now he's awful but it's not his fault. As for Hinch, who knows what to make of his public statements but I would have asked him "do you have a hitting coach?"
  6. I think that Correa is going to be disappointed, again, that no one offers him a Lindor deal. He'll get AAV but not the years.
  7. The other problem that the Rays have not solved with Paredes is the same problem the Tigers faced...where do you put his glove? He hasn't played third since the middle of June. Currently in August, he has played 53 innings at first, and 45 at second. Well no matter how much we think he has improved as a hitter, he doesn't have enough bat for first base or DH. I hope he does well and gets a nice payday but he still has a lot of flaws.
  8. Paredes can stink for 7 straight weeks and all is quiet here. Then he has a good weekend and the Rays fleeced the Tigers.
  9. Steve Winwood! Evil!
  10. That's the first suggestion that I have seen here that might have a chance to work.
  11. None at all. But I've seen Daz Cameron before. Whether or not he's on the team won't change anything.
  12. Right. And yet...who is at Toledo that I would like to see called up? I can't think of anyone.
  13. I don't actually hate Victor Reyes.
  14. Keuchel delivered as advertised.
  15. I just looked up Francouer again, what a mysterious career. A corner outfielder who lasted for 12 years, with an OPS+ of over 100 only 5 times, and 91 for his career. I think that he lasted so long because at a very young age, from 21 to 23, he put up some counting stats that included establishing himself as an "RBI man", 100 per year, and his first full season at age 22 he had 29 home runs and 103 RBI and people would have said wow, good looking kid, but then you look at his OPS+ and it is 87 for that year and you think "how is that even possible"?
  16. Greene doesn't have a good slash line but he supplies a lot of entertainment.
  17. Yes, 2 good starts should mean a 3rd start, and not a trip to the scene of previous failures.
  18. I never liked Toby.
  19. They redacted half of that affidavit. It's a halfadavit.
  20. Lol, I didn't say I was happy with him now. I said I was happy with signing him then.
  21. I was pretty happy about it. I wanted no part of Correa.
  22. There were some good rightfield arms when Parker played, Dwight Evans was another one, but I think that the consensus king of them all was Ellis Valentine.
  23. Oh yes I can see where that would apply.
  24. Ha ha I am holding at 1 bike and 0 boats. I was interested in a boat a few years ago, a Contessa which at 26' could be handled by 1 person..
