Rainer missed a bunch of time last year, and only has about 250 career ab's, so hopefully he makes a little more contact as the year progresses. Plus it has been cold as he$% in GR this spring.
Going through our top propsects the only one doing well is Max Anderson.
One my least favorite actors attempts at another accent was Al Pacino in Scarface. Even when i was like 18 and should have liked that movie i didn't because he came accross as so fake.
There are quite differing opinions on what Moore will be. I've read some that say he is more of a 3-4 stand up edge, and others that he will be a 3 down 4-3 edge setter. I know he stood up a lot at Michigan but that was probably just Wink forcing guys to fit in his system, rather than what they are best at.
If i had on nitpick with this draft it would have been trading up for Moore when there were a few edges still on the board if he was hellbent on drafting an edge there. There was still quite a bit of talent left in the fourth.
Other than that it will be interesting to see how Rolder and Moore fit in the defense since they are a bit different Anzelone and Davenport.
Also hoping that they have some cap space left for DJ Reader, I hate having to rely on Levi.
Crosby has been to 5 straight pro-bowls, All Pro 3 times, and received DPOY top ten finishes twice. That is a pretty high bar for Moore. I watched a bunch of Michigan games and i don't think he ever really took over a game like Hutchinson or Graham did. I would expect a maybe 10-12 sack at his peek with decent run defense kind of player.
Hooker came out of that Josh Heupel offense which doesn't translate well to the NFL. It emphasizes quick reads and taking off if they aren't there. If he could process complex defenses was unknown pretty much. And ultimately why he failed is he was lost post snap. It was a gamble i think they thought they could make because they had a bunch of picks.
It kind of began a trend of making some bad decisions with 3rd and 4th round picks, or at least decisions that look bad in retrospect.
That sounds like Brad. I would rather they add some speed to the LB and edge group. I like Jacob Rodriguez as well. Miller's scouting report is that he is a 325 pound one tech, just like Tyleik.
I think, in the first round, when you are 4-13 you go BPA, with a possible 1-2 postion group exception. When you are 13-4 you go need, narrowed down to 1-2 postion groups.
Brad has been in both of those situations and for the most part drafted that way.
