Two things: 1) I'm not certain if command vehicles are marked as such; but if so, easy targets for the Ukrainians (who can also hear Russian comm's and... get this, both read and translate/understand Russian...) 2) Is senior Russian military leadership at the front lines due to Putin's demand? Or because of current on-the-ground failures to-date? Or both? Regardless, it doesn't seem to be helping much...

I wanna guess that he's hit a wall. I don't want to make any rush to judgement on this year... has he ever played this much? Or faced this many shots on a game-by-game basis? Or had some weak defensive play in front of him, like, this? I think I want to see a full slate of games next year, and maybe some better defense in front of him... before I feel more comfortable getting a read on him...

Who is actually a viable internal option on the future team outside of Edvinsson? How would you rank, and what % chances given to make the NHL, and which line projection (1st-2nd-3rd pairing potential) upside (none of us might have (I certainly don't) any "scouting" level ability to actually make those projections... just asking for anyone's thoughts): Sebrango, McIsaac, Buium, Tuomisto, Wallinder, Viro, Johannson, (anyone else?) Maybe even include Lindstrom... IE: 1. Lindstrom, 100%, 2nd pairing upside 2. Sebrango, 80%, 3rd pairing upside 3. Johannson, 75%, 2nd pairing upside ... Anyone wanna take a stab?

Wanna bring up a point: My interest in trading for Chycrun (not going to happen, at least 99.9%, except ya never know what Stevie Y has up his sleeve...): But... I have a certain logic to wanting him. Which is: the desire for having two effective blueliner tandems. If you like someone a whole lot more than Chycrun, just replace him with Insert Name Here: ____________. Now, I'm excited for Edvinsson to make the Red Wings in 2022-23 as much as anyone (hopefully he breaks camp with the Wings with minimal to zero time spent on the Griffins). In making up defensive pairings (I think buddha opined that he wants our best two as a pairing in order to have a dominating pair. I don't mind that idea, it sounds awesome. Except I think I prefer...) to maximize the time that EITHER Seider or Edvinsson are on the ice at any point in time, or both. So let's say they both are on the ice for 22 min's/ game, and Hronek & Chycrun (humor me for now...) are on the ice 16 min's/ game... on average. I want Chycrun paired with Seider and Edvinsson paired with Hronek for 16 minutes per game. Seider and Edvinsson get 6 minutes per game exclusively with each other (power plays, penalty kills, or just 5-on-5's...), so there is time for domination. BTW: Chycrun & Hronek probably make for a pretty nice 2nd power play pairing... but I wouldn't let them near any penalty kills... But anyways... that's my reasoning. I want two effective pairings, and time managed/ or protections for the weaker links (Chycrun & Hronek) in those pairings whilst the dominant D'men (Seider & Edvinsson) play in all situations, get the extra time together, etc. In this type of plan, Seider and/ or Edvinsson are on the ice 38 minutes per game, as opposed to 22 minutes with a much weaker 2nd & 3rd pairing soaking up all other D minutes. I prefer the 38 mixed minutes. Now... I drew it up on the board... anyone else agree? Disagree? Why?

I was actually interested in seeing a Vrana-Veleno-Zadina line... I think I called for that quite a while ago... Just want to see if they gel together or can be productive at all. And that's with two minimally productive (Veleno-Zadina) guys there... If they actually do something: Vrana is a superhero. I'm assuming Namest is on the top line only due to Bert being out... well, I mean, obviously...

I'm ready for a no-fly zone over Ukraine. I'm ready for NATO forces West of the Dnieper River (that includes Kiev, Kherson, Odessa, and Nikolaev, all currently under Russian control or fire... although I don't think they've really made a move on Odessa yet... just blockading them from the Black Sea...). I'm ready for Polish MIG's to be given to Ukrainian forces (as well as Romanian MIG's), and for Patriot missiles in western Ukraine and to start shooting down Russian jets. I'm ready for Ukrainian and NATO relief/ invasion (from NATO's/ Russian perspective) forces making a push to free up Mariupol from Russian shelling; which brings them past the entranceway into Crimea and on the edge of the Donbass. Direct combat with Russian artillery & other forces. Wanna fuck with us Putin? Go for it. We'll react accordingly... so... just try it. (you know... "make my day"). But... That's just me.

Spectacular! But the chemical and biological weapons scare me. It sounds like Putin is ready and willing to use them. Against his Slavic brothers and sisters. And it will be 1000's and 1000's of kids that die at his hands. By way of chemical weapons. How despicable. Contemptible mother fucker. Yup davaya mot.

Is Duren part of that 2nd tier? If you have a shot-blocking interior scorer at Center, then Stew can come off the bench as an energy guy. If Duren is a 6th pick type of guy (if we end up as low as there...), but he is capable of starting at Center, then you've got Duren at C, Bagley or Grant at PF, Grant or Bey at SF, Cade at Guard, and whatever 3 & D secondary ball-handling guard you can find to put next to him... Asking for a friend...

I'm not certain where that push would be coming from or exactly what that push is... From a Commercial Real Estate push, of course they want to get employees back into office space. From my own companies' POV, we cancelled our office lease and have been very content working from home. Saves the Company a bundle and there is no current push or "must-have" for office space. Makes our local commercial real estate agents and owners quite unhappy though (if our attitude were the prevalent attitude) From my own perspective and that of multiple co-workers, I'd rather work from home and do NOT want to get back into the office. If it's a push to get people back to work in general, I think that's happening anyways. But I agree with that last part: avoiding the cost of rush hour/ traffic jams/ and all the gasoline associated with that seems another really good reason to just continue the work-from-home mindset that we've enjoyed the past couple of years. Commercial Real Estate Agents & Owners be damned!!!
