  1. The obvious solution is took put him on the bench. If Eddys can handle SS, Baez can still back up... or provide some other usefulness... probably back up 2B too. A WAY overpaid utility guy... But as you say, he ain't taking less than $98 mill so until the team decides to eat whatever remains, he's either the starter or he's an expensive backup 2B/SS...
  2. I don't gamble.
  3. Yes. And that's the correct solution. Kill the rule they put in place to reduce kickoff returns. They want them back? Then take a frickin' step back... and reverse the prior (unnecessary) rule.
  4. So... He's improving? /jk
  5. Go talk to Vegas! Or do you do betting apps?
  6. Wow. Yes, crazy. Although that may be defensive more than anything. I'm guessing they feel a bit like the State of Israel surrounded by people who don't really like them. Obviously not as dire as Israel... I'm just sayin'...
  7. Just as a hint: Right now: Biden has 53,744 votes in Utah. Trump has 42,580 The swing vote...? Haley has 31,384
  8. Right, so the state stays red... in a normal year. I believe their Trump-hate is pretty crazy high also though, because they are Mormon. So this year, and this year only, the state goes blue and Biden wins there. Everything else in the state stays red... So I'm just calling this as a one-off.
  9. I believe NC, and possibly even Iowa and Montana, have voted blue before... so on a normalized basis, yes. Florida too... but I think they are getting heavy white-retirees from the mid west so it appears they are turning redder the past 20 or so years... I would think they'd also be getting heavy Jersey/ New York retirees and non-Cuban Hispanics to offset that but... I don't know they they are turning so red-fascist in that state...? That makes Texas, Florida, Alaska & Ohio very difficult to turn blue. But I'm guessing this is going to be the "Year of the Never-Trumper Wave" so we'll see how much of an impact that has on all the November races. Biden, Senator & Reps, state races...
  10. No.. they're not turning into Colorado. They'll stay red... This is just pure "we're red, but we're also Mormon and we hate bullies/ fascism/ Trump", so it's a one-off this year. That's my prediction.
  11. That's bull****. Penalize a team for having a good kicker? Gotta be another way... Not this.
  12. If we end up with a top 3 pick after the lottery I see two stretch-4's... (I would really love to add a stretch-4 to this team...) Sarr and Risacher... Does anyone like them?
  13. Rich Dem who walked all over Samoa making promises...
  14. An entire RED state is going to flip BLUE for Biden in November because of Never-Trumpers. My prediction: Utah flips and votes Biden. Book it!
  15. I've said this like 5 times already. It's harder to get good enough CB's then it is to manufacture a pass-rush.... Literally, from just about anywhere. But yes... get both. Especially in the draft. To which: There is absolutely no possible way that having Sutton & Moseley stops the Lions from further addressing the position. Why would you even think this? Or are you just asking the question...? To see what answers come out of it...? Because I can't seriously believe that you would actually think something like this. But to answer the question: They're drafting a cornerback in this draft. In the 1st three rounds. Free agency is harder to predict because there are too many variables...
  16. Mantha was traded from Washington to Vegas. Or: "The Caps are throwing in the towel..." Meaning, the first move of many before the deadline...
  17. Trump's. He's buying influence. Or at least he thinks he is...
  18. Sensing a theme there... Similar to New Hampshire so... It's not just New Hampshire.
  19. Sneed also had the tag placed on him... but the non-exclusive tag... Which means they're looking for other teams to put a value on him and they'll work something out long-term with him based on the offers he's getting... OR: they are willing to trade him to a team willing to pay him. Sign and trade so to speak. It will be interesting to see how that plays out...
  20. "well" was the key word there... Well enough to live with whatever his fielding shortcomings might be because the team can't live with Baez swinging at air anymore...
  21. He's already in the 1st. Now he's drifting upwards to top 10-ish after the Combine...
  22. INSANE! https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39654399/broncos-cut-russell-wilson-take-85m-dead-money-hit Broncos to cut Russell Wilson, take on $85M dead money hit
  23. Well you've certainly convinced yourself of this... Did you have a hard time doing this...? Convincing yourself? Because I've been an Independent for over 30+ years and Trump can go **** himself. I'm voting straight Dem ticket from top to bottom. I've voted Republican before... but I won't again, until MAGA Fascism is eradicated from the party. 90% of the Independents I know have either always hated Trump and would never vote for him... OR if they were right-leaning Indies have had enough of his horse**** and will never consider him again. They're voting Biden (and have said so) on most likely a split ticket. Uncommitted was simply a protest vote. 99% are voting Biden in November. Lastly, who gives a **** about Biden's age? Trump is 77 and already suffering from dementia, obesity, and probably worse. So yeah... anyone using Biden's "age is a concern" will probably vote Trump because they're using that as a BS excuse. So maybe you did get something correct there. But not much.
  24. "We decided we liked the matchup with Alfredo Simon on the mound better..."
