For switch-hitters: Looks like MLB pitchers have adjusted to Perez... here's to hoping he can make his own adjustments (and handle the inside pitches that he now seems to be getting a steady diet of...) and stick in MLB. If he can, there's a decent bat with decent power with decent speed and a decent glove... Nothing outstanding, but if there's enough above average he'll be a useful, slightly above average player that can be spotted in multiple places... Trei Cruz is in Erie but he looks like a backup SS & CF'er at this point, at best... I don't know what his chances are... FRANYERBER Montilla is the same age as Clark and is lighting up the Dominican Leagues... but that's quite a lot further away. I don't know if he sticks at SS or slides over to the left or the right...? Somewhere in the 2B-SS-3B range... Don't know what his chances are or how long it takes... but at least several years down the road...

For RH'ers... Looking at Malloy, Dingler, Gold (further away at A+) and maybe Campos (same). I still say swap Tork for Vilade just to see what happens.

I think he needs to be sent to Toledo. He needs to figure something out. Whatever that may be. And he apparently is unwilling to do so in MLB. So let's try AAA.

PS: I guess Jake Miller is another pitcher that could also be an option to move up to a higher challenge at A+

IMO: It's time to move McGonigle and Clark up to West Michigan. Briceno is on short-term DL... but he could probably make the move up as well, IMO. Lastly: I think one other guy could make the move up: Undrafted Free Agent pitcher Zack Lee. He's 23, signed out of college (after the 20th round...) last year, and has a 1.93 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in Lakeland... I don't know what his stuff is... but bump him up.

Buck Farmer had a minor leagues 1.265 WHIP. Not a good pitcher. Felipe Lira had a minor leagues 1.345 WHIP. Terrible pitcher. Keider Montero has a minor leagues 1.405 WHIP. 1.467 WHIP this year in Toledo. He better figure something out really quick (better control, a move to the bullpen, whatever)... Otherwise, I don't think he'll be a good pitcher. Now... Please tell me what the scouts are telling you that makes you think he will turn from a NOT GOOD pitcher, right now in AAA, into a GOOD pitcher in MLB? Because I don't see it. Despite what you THINK the scouts are telling you... Maybe there's something there... but where is it? Show it to me. Don't just BS about "the scouts"... show it to me.

With a 1.41 WHIP in his minor league travails... He might have an awesome breaking pitch... But he sucks. At least for anyone that cares about keeping baserunners off the bases. Unless there are Felipe Lira 2.0 fans out there...?

I wonder how many of the 36K Gazan dead are actually at the hands of Hamas crossfire/ errors/ errant missiles/ secondary weapons explosions or on purpose killings by Hamas? 1,000? 2,000? We know it was Hamas missiles at Al-Shifa Hospital and we know they were shooting and killing Gazans that were directed to safe corridors. The true numbers will never be known.
