Biden can't "rest on his laurels" and will need to press his case across the country, building Dem enthusiasm from the ground up (even though he's not Obama... he still has a dedicated following in Dem circles based simply on his... "reliability"? To do the right thing. And that means from the AA community all across the spectrum... Well... maybe the Palestinian/Muslim-American population won't be enthusiastic about him. Just watched Dune 2. Amazing job by Villeneuve and while it could be redundant with previous Dune movie (or Sci-Fi Channel version)... He made a few changes which could drive a very different direction for Dune Messiah. And I believe Villeneuve is already on board with the 3rd movie.

Obviously that's the first priority. Call it "Plan A". But they've been trying to work with him the past couple years to try and help him. Maybe they didn't have the right, or the effective, game plan for him. Perhaps he gets his OPS up to about .750-ish and we can live with any other shortcomings (wild swings, wild throws, etc...) But the question has already been asked: If it's mid-July and he has a low .500's OPS, and his throws are... "less than accurate"... Then how long does the team's patience last? At some point... who gives a **** about hurting his fee-fee's? If he's hurting the team and another guy can help the team: then... "Plan B".

This obviously is a problem. But I just wanted to ask: Would Duren play better at PF, instead of C? I mean, aside from his still lack of range. If We added a stretch-5 just for example... This was what I took from her statement as well. To flesh that out: 1) In my opinion, she can now go "silent mode", and will. As stated, the onus is on TRUMP to pull back in moderate Republicans. 2) He won't be able to do it... which means he gets clobbered in November. 3) This allows Haley to IMMEDIATELY take the lead on "How do we fix this?" 4) I believe this is her game. To remake the next version of the Republican Party into "not-MAGA". That doesn't EXCLUDE them from the Republican Party. But there would now be a "repudiate Trump" reason (he gets clobbered again in November) to fix the GOP. And the agenda would no longer be to "bootlick Trump no matter what". She should be able to take some of Trump's talking points ("tough on the border") and redefine them as Republican and not Fascist. As long as Trump the "strongman" (hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!) is on the docket, it's all about his fascist cult and not about a two party system under American Constitutional Democracy. 5) She was pulling hard on Centrists (Republican or Indie), moderate Republicans (the few who remain), and right-leaning Indies, specifically. This is where she is going to start efforts on a "New Republican Party". I have no idea where this goes/ what kind of policy platform they might set/ whether MAGA can be roped in, or not... etc. 6) But demolish Trump in November first, and then see what happens. I think this is her game plan.

The obvious solution is took put him on the bench. If Eddys can handle SS, Baez can still back up... or provide some other usefulness... probably back up 2B too. A WAY overpaid utility guy... But as you say, he ain't taking less than $98 mill so until the team decides to eat whatever remains, he's either the starter or he's an expensive backup 2B/SS...
