  1. Mouth-watering matchup. Michigan can play up or down to its opposition. If what is supposedly the best Michigan team in a generation can't beat one of the SEC's weakest champions, fine, the ceiling may be Big 10 championships. Kind of how I felt before the OSU game in 2021 - would Michigan be content them with being a top 6-top 15 team a clear notch below Ohio St or would they step up. Same here. Obviously Michigan needs to play better than they did against Maryland or Iowa. Alabama has to play better than they did against Auburn or Arkansas. Let's go!
  2. I'm also a bit worried this injury precedent would set. So Michigan has a perfect season, but if Iowa had sacked JJ in the 3rd quarter causing an arm injury, and we figured Orjii would need to be the CFP QB, we'd knock Michigan down or out?
  3. If this team was anyone not named Alabama (or Georgia), people would be fine with leaving them out: - Lost out of conference game to Texas at home by 10 - Tied with South Florida 3-3 at halftime - 6pt win over 5-loss Texas A&M - 3pt win at home over 8-loss Arkansas - One of their better wins is over LSU by 14, fine, but FSU beat LSU by 21 - Beat 6-loss Auburn on a Hail Mary
  4. Just noticed who scored Montreal's 4th goal last night to tie the game late in the third. Gustav Lindstrom.
  5. Right. In situations like that, not only a fumble but also an offensive penalty that stop the clock (even if defined) would be killers for no reason.
  6. Archie Griffin is a Buckeye but he was awesome when I was a kid. I wouldn’t boo him.
  7. The defensive linemen should aggressively strip sack Petiti of the trophy, don’t wait for it to be presented.
  8. Didn’t a 12-1 (or 11-1?) Ohio State and the Big 10 get left out one year? Maybe this is the SEC’s year to miss. Their collective non-conference record wasn’t great. Georgia’s biggest win is Missouri? Florida St beat a ranked SEC team in LSU. Texas beat Alabama by 10 on the road and the margin of play was at least as decisive as the scoreline.
  9. JJ shouldn’t drop back again. Just keep handing off.
  10. Louisville around 12 yards away from taking the lead.
  11. you called it i see Ferentz’s point Took Fox long enough to tell us what the ruling was
  12. I think that will be called an incomplete pass, but closer than I thought.
  13. I’m most worried about a strip sack, pick-6 or blocked punt.
  14. Wings are right in the thick of things.
  15. A Walman winner! Whew.
  16. Wings are outscoring Iowa, Florida St and Louisville. But have blown a 3-goal lead. 4-4 with under 3 minutes to go in regulation, we’ll-timed with Michigan’s halftime
  17. Big drop by Loveland. Michigan would have got another 3 or more out of that drive if he had caught that.
