    The December 11, 1977 win over the Baltimore Colts is one of my first football memories. Riding in the backseat of our car with Bob Reynolds on the play by play. Meaningless, for the Lions, late season game but the Lions blocked a put with under 20 seconds to go and recovered it for a game-winning TD. Go to the 5min 20s of this video.

    If the Tigers play this week like the Lions played last night, the champagne will be flowing as AL Central division winners.

    Stating the obvious, thanks for everything you do with this site. It definitely adds to the post-game experience after a big Tigers win or Lions win to come online and read thoughts shared.

    I might have gone down at the 1. Now if the Ravens score and can save their 3 timeouts, they can still stop the clock.

    Better get a 3 and out because after that it is probably 4 down territory for Baltimore, timing wise, and hard to stop them with 4 chances. FUMBLE!

    21-21. A 60 minute game on the road against one of the NFL’s best teams has been reduced to a 20 minute game left. I’d have taken that going to. The Lions can match these guys. Bodes well for rest of season.

    Giving up a TD there is harsh on the defense. But Andrews made the big catch after Branch couldn’t.

    67 yard field goal? Risk of block and return might be higher than chance of hitting it.

    That’s bad clock management. Should have run on 1st down, bring it down to under a minute, then try to get in field goal range.
