  1. Rodon got rocked. Another Freeman homer. 4-1 Dodgers after 3.
  2. Oooo, Kane came so close to tying it in final minute. But Sabres ice it with an ENG.
  3. Excellent! How did they become Hughes fans - watched him for Michigan?
  4. Gibson's limping HR and Freeman's grand slam were both hit at 8:37pm PT.
  5. The Wings have looked terrible but a goal by DeBrincat from Seider gets them to within one at 2-1.
  6. Wings are looking terrible. Awkward lineup change by the Wings and Tage Thompson puts it into a wide open net moments later.
  7. Wings being outshot by Buffalo 11-2 eight minutes into the game. The average age of the players on Buffalo's roster is the youngest in the league. The Wings are 7th oldest.
  8. Wings give up Buffalo's first powerplay goal of the year.
  9. Matinee in Buffalo starting now. Lyon with his league-leading .955 save % is back in net. Compher returns to the lineup.
  10. “She is ….GONE”. If Joe Davis really thought on his feet and said that on purpose, that’s amazing.
  11. 1986 was insane. Red Sox were down to their last out in the ALCS before Dave Henderson saved them. Mets beat the Astros in something like an 18 inning marathon in the NLCS. Then the World Series with Buckner and all that
  12. Great game.
  13. These are the moments MLB has been waiting for. Yankees up by a run, bottom of the 10th, Dodgers have runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out for Ohtani
  14. Tie game, 2 on, 2 out, Judge at the plate ... and the girl in the red cap behind home plate has had her head buried in her phone for the at bat.
  15. Game tied 2-2 in the 9th, looked for a second like the Yankees had gone ahead with a Gleyber Torres homer, but ruled a double due to fan interference. Probably the right call. Left fielder had no shot at it, but looks like it would have hit top of wall and bounced back onto field.
  16. Dodger Stadium is the 3rd oldest stadium in MLB, behind only Wrigley and Fenway. Opened in 1962, it is now as old as Tiger Stadium was in 1974.
  17. Cool! I want to give a trophy, a like, and a laugh to this post.
  18. Bibee has too. Off the top of my head can think of a bunch of relievers like Tekulve, Henke, Eric Gagne, Valverde. Two Tigers starters who wore were Denny McLain often and Nate Robertson, but no no-nos.
  19. Fernando threw 149 pitches in his Game 3 victory in the 1981 World Series. Watching Fernando’s 1990 no-hitter, I noticed he was wearing glasses for it. Now I’m trying to find another example of a glasses-wearing pitcher throwing a no-hitter. It’s proven harder to find than I thought it would. Greg Maddux, for example, never threw one.
  20. Yeah if it was the flu I don’t think Campbell would be ruling him out like he seems to be. So you may be on to something.
