  1. They seem as if they've checked out. Let me look -- Oh, oh yes, it's April 13th and they've checked out. I am telling you, if the Twins lose today, Baldelli's out. They'd be 4-12 - coming off of that collapse from last year. Doesn't matter if the teams is for sale - they'd say to Jayce Tingler - the job is yours the rest of the year, see if you can turn this around. It's early and fates can change in a hurry, but it just feels like the Twins need a reset and the only way you can really do that in mid-season is manager or major trade and they're not making a made trade right now. So far, so good for the Might Casey. Hopefully he's found that thing that made him a 1/1. Dismantling Seattle isn't impressive since they can't hit, but the Yankees were averaging 8 runs a game he he shut 'em down. We've got AL Rookie Of The Year Dillon Dingler in the lineup today, but we've also got Kreedler, it's like Kevin's dilemma on The Office. Angela's party has double fudge brownies, but it also has Angela........... Dingler!!!, Kreidler ↓↓↓
  2. Congrats Bronco for giving us something to cheer for hockey-wise this year.
  3. Bad as Baez has been, we dodged a bullet with Correa. Yeah, I wanted the Tigers to sign him too, but not at $33 million. He's a good player (or he was) but he is not a superstar - not even close.
  4. I don't agree with that second part. Someone might be desperate enough. The Tigers found someone 6 games into the 2002 season - someone who knew they weren't going to be the guy. There are plenty of coaches that need a shot to pull off a turnaround.
  5. 4-12 if they lose tomorrow. You live there, but me, as an outsider, found it stunning that Baldelli wasn't fired in the offseason. Aren't the Twins for sale?
  6. If the Tigers win tomorrow, Baldelli will be fired.
  7. Jobe's pitches have some wicked movement. If he gets that under control, man oh man.
  8. Could have been, if he only hit it a little harder.
  9. Love it. Got a dot in the first inning. Thanks, Carlos
  10. $33 million a year, eh? Javy's better !
  11. Boston will go from Cup Conteder to bottom feeder to Cup Contender again and the Wings will still be hovering around 8th to 11th place in the Conference. I have zero confidence that anything will change. Just more Teresenkos and Petrys on the way.
  12. 2 BB in 55 plate appearances is also a bit worrying.
  13. Oh, Gleyber's back. Good, We get to DH Colt.
  14. They currently have 12 position players. Who's getting the call up? LOOK OUT OL' MATTY'S BACK ? ? ? I NEED TO KNOW..................NOW !!!!
  15. Anyone watch The Pitt? Outstanding. I went in thinking "Oh, another hospital show" None have measured up to St. Elsewhere to me. The Pitt blows it away. Covered a lot of different issues in 15 hours.
  16. Wait, Brewer up and now Brewer down. Does this mean Vierling's back? How about Vierling's front? How about just Vierling. ....or was Nido not active the last game?
  17. So, did the Pistons intentionally lose a couple of games to help secure a Round 1 matchup vs. the Knicks instead of the Pacers? They didn't beat the Pacers this year and they did beat the Knicks (last night doesn't count, because didn't the Knicks sit a few guys?).
  18. Red Wings funeral was tonight. We thought last year was a launching point. The regressed instead
  19. Stop speculating on the big names It's pointless. Yzerman won't go for those. He's going to do the same thing he's been doing the last 3 years. Mid-Level veterans, holding onto or acquiring draft picks. Yawn. This plan is going nowhere. The easiest sport to make the playoffs and it's 9 years now. It's a complete failure. Make Yzerman President and hire a new GM and give them real GM powers. Like the Harris role with the Tigers. That way you didn't fire the sentimental fan favorite. And what the hell happened to Dylan Larkin at the 4-Nations tournament? Not the same guy. Nor was Raymond. Now you start getting into the Wasting Careers territory.
  20. You don't want to watch what's going to happen on Friday. That's gonna be ugly.
  21. Tigers are 7-1 when not playing an All Star team.
  22. Broom is still in the closet.................Let's free it !
  23. Peter Cetera ruined Chicago. After Terry Kath's horrible (and stupid) demise, there was nobody to push back on the king of corny piano ballads. The band went from very interesting time signatures and horn arrangements surprising song structures to "You're the Inspiration". I hate Peter Cetera (the musician), I can't say I hate the man because he could be a very nice guy. You know, you could have remained innovative on the bulk of an album, with the occasional scmaltz to get the radio play for the royalties. The Police pulled it off. Why couldn't you?
