  1. Is Gibson hurt or is he already busted down to #2?
  2. Doesn't matter what was legal or not. IT WAS NOT A REVIEWABLE PLAY AND IT WAS NOT NEW YORK'S CALL TO MAKE IN THAT SITUATION. Not the reason they lost, but it feeds that narrative that the league favors that team. 2 years ago their left tackle false started at least 7 or 8 times and it never got called. it never does with them. penalty-free game, my arse.
  3. For anyone freaking out over the Lions losing to the Chiefs. The Bills were the best team in the NFL 3 weeks ago. Nearly unbeatable, right. They just lost 2 straight. To the rebuilding Patriots and to a Falcons team that lost 30-0 to the Panthers a few weeks ago. The Eagles just lost 2 in a row - including to the lowly Giants with a rookie QB. I guarantee you that the Eagles and Bills will be on top of their divisions by season's end. It can be an up and down thing. The idea is that the Buccs are red hot coming into this Monday night game, but I have a feeling that the Lions are going to look like they did against Baltimore on Monday night. The Brian Branch thing sure doesn't help, though.
  4. he had a whole game to get away with ways to do that. Absolutely idiotic. This could REALLY hurt this team next week. Already thin back there.
  5. Did we trade John Gibson to them?
  6. I watched the scene again. As they are walking and talking you hear kids in the background, so I think maybe they were just walking around the schoolyard or park. She doesn't get into a car and ride away with him. They had their conversation and then she went back to the kids - and then some time later they got back together. The movie really compresses about 5 years. Remember, Michael had been back a full year before reaching out to Kay. They full year is not covered in the movie at all. Skipped over Apollonia's death to a year later.
  7. So, I didn't watch much of the game last night. Is TP saying the team is a 6-11 team now because they lost a game?
  8. You don't walk away from Michael Corleone. The kids were..........well..........taken care of.
  9. yep. But when they needed him to fill in - he did the job and he's beaten Ohio State. Wasn't the biggest name, but no reason to get on him. They weren't winning that game last night with a Freshman QB. When you have an 18 year old at that position, you're gonna have some struggles. Underwood hasn't been bad this year, he just hasn't been good either. He's been a little better than I expected. Michigan fans need to understand that when they made that kid the starter they were saying this would not be a contending year. But their schedule is cake the rest of the way. Washington, MSU, Purdue, Northwester, Maryland, Ohio State. They could be 5-1 right there. 9-3 might mean playoffs - especially when they want your brand in the mix. And if they could be Ohio State last year............ With Jim scurrying like a cockroach when the lights came on, Moore has managed well. Others would have crumbled.
  10. That's 2 or 3 of your biggest boosters saying "do it or else....." What bothers me is the cost of buying him out and how it comes from the state (commonwealth) of Pennsylvania, does it not? To have this kind of money to throw around, but to still have so many people in need. We prioritize the wrong things. It's just a stupid game. Thought about this after the Tigers loss. It pissed me off for a day, but really does not effect my life in any way. As a Michigan fan, I wanted Franklin to stay. Franklin is like Jim Caldwell. Has good teams, but can never win the big game. He has them prepped, but makes bad in-game decisions. There is a likely opening in East Lansing coming, MSU could do a lot worse than James Franklin.
  11. The NFL is not going to allow Taylor Swift's future husband to go 2-4 if they can help it. Lions have to be near-perfect tonight. Calls will not be going their way. And you know it !
  12. That's one of the great shots in film history. One of the all-time great endings too.
  13. I did not expect a win for Blue tonight and I am probably not getting one. But they should keep fighting. I think USC is kind of soft.
  14. If Franklin were to go it would be after the season. My guess is Bill O'Brien would return to Penn State. O'Brien was a good NFL Head Coach. Then he became a GM too and well.............he should stick to coaching.
  15. And the Hoosiers are for real. With the win over Oregon and Oklahoma getting destroyed against Texas - Indiana may be #3 or #4 tomorrow. The Cignetti guy is 64. How did nobody discover this guy before now? And MSU - Wow, losing 38-13 at home to a 1-4 UCLA team And Franklin WILL survive the season - it would cost WAY TOO MUCH to fire him
  16. They.............Look.............Lost Wow
  17. Aidan Chiles took the top of a defender's helmet right to the face. Oh my god that was a hard hit..........
  18. Watching UCLA vs. Michigan State Play 30 Second Commercial Play Flag. 30 Second Commercial Play Timeout 30 Second Commrrcial Play 30 Second Commercial Play (No Snap, Timeout) 30 Second Commercial Missed Field Goal (shockingly no commercial). I mean, COME ON, MAN - WHAT THE ACTUAL ****? THIS IS PATHETIC.
  19. UCLA is spanking Sparty right now in East Lansing. 24-7. Was Foster just a horrible coach and UCLA is actually pretty good? Or is Sparty really this bad?
  20. that wouldn't bother me. Anyone But The Dodgers.........
  21. What do you do with all these next-generation Tigers. If you put them on the 40 man before the end of 2026, does that mean they are subject to the lockout/strike and can't play anywhere in 2027? If they aren't only the 40-man during the 2027 stoppage, do they get to play in the minors? Losing a year of development would be awful.
  22. By the way, as far as Chris' motivation to win. The Tigers were in first place most of the season, but 16th in attendance - one behind the worst team in baseball, Colorado. So maybe he's thinking - when we're good the fans don't really show up, so why bother spending money, those fans are filling enough of our parking lots.
  23. Not sure that makes me feel better. I feel like he is the baseball version of Steve Yzerman. Maybe the owner has told Harris & Yzerman that they can't spend big money or sign any long term contract. That's entirely possible. Having all these prospects and then never using them to get all the way home is like having a bunch of really cool toys that were never taken out of their packaging because "one day these will be valuable". Sure, but by that time you'll be too old to enjoy it. I hope Clark & McGonigle & Briceno are better than Greene, Torkelson & Meadows. An AL Central team hasn't been to the World Series since 2016 and it feels like maybe we're just destined to be part of that - make the playoffs but never go too far group. This is how Padres fans feel. I mean, every year they make the playoffs and just can't get home. We've only done it twice and it just sucks. Just please, not the Dodgers again. Anyone else is fine, just not them. if they do it again it just cements the fact that no matter what you do, no matter how good you are at building a system, only a handful of teams can buy a title and it will always be them in the end. A salary cap would help fix that, but the idea of a salary cap will never fly. The players will never ever go for it, not even if a salary floor gets the majority of the players more money. That salary cap argument is why we won't have a season in 2027.
  24. I am glad the Lions don't have a player with AJ Brown's attitude. You don't hear Jaymo complaining about his numbers after a Lions win. Don't don't hear ANY Lions complaining after a win.
  25. Driving to Chicago, Toronto or Cleveland for it? The Cleveland show could be their last show ever.
