Last year the Lions went into Minnesota winless. Their QB was not playing well at all. They were not using Aman Ra St. Brown at full capacity yet and it took a last second 54 yard FG for the Vikings to win. Coach cried. Then, when the Vikings came here and had everything to play for - a playoff berth, their coach's job, the Lions beat 'em for their first win of the season. This is a winnable game, so go win it.

JJ needs to be MUCH better next week. Iowa is terrible, but their defense is good. I think that game will be a strong indicator at how bad the West really is. By saying "Fake #4", I don't know who would replace them, but they just don't feel that strong. If they didn't have preseason rankings and they started with rankings now, I think NC State could be as high as #4. I just think that Michigan really didn't prepare itself for the real season and it showed yesterday. Thank goodness for Blake Corum. I think Cade would have been a lot better. McCarthy just looked rushed and uneasy. Hey, we got a Big Ten championship last year, I wasn't expecting back-to-back.

Skubal should be back by Opening Day, right? Eduardo will be back and has been solid, but he's a back rotation guy. Wilmer Flores, Ty Madden, Chance Kirby, Austin Bergner will all be in the mix and then there's Drew, who's like the friend who crashes on your couch and never leaves.
