  1. From what I have read from multiple places the consensus feels that this draft has about 15 "true" first round rated players, if Brad feels the same then given his track record it's far more likely to me that he tries to trade up and grab one of them then it is he trades back. He did that with Jamo when he said he was the last of the 1st round grades in that class and Arnold last year.
  2. SGA has scored 1900 points this year....through 3 quarters, the only player to have that many points total is Anthony Edwards.
  3. My position of choice at this point is O-line or DT so I'd be fine with that.
  4. Mickey Moniak just released by the Angels, could be worth a look. Can handle center and is a better bat than somebody like Kriedler.
  5. BTW This is Michigan's 8 sweet sixteen appearance out of the last 12 seasons(not counting 2020 where there was no postseason), only Gonzaga and Duke have more.
  6. Did not expect Sweet Sixteen to be in the cards this year. What an amazing turnaround!
  7. Maybe we'll get lucky and the Mavs will rest Luka tonight.
  8. This is what I expect but sometimes you see teams like the Pistons win a series or two. I think back to Trae and Hawks going to the conference finals a few years back, I don't remember their whole squad but from memory it felt like everything just went through Trae, same with the Knicks and Brunson a couple years ago where they made a little run. Not expecting it but I feel teams like the Knicks and Pacers have some flaws themselves so if Cade plays well along with Beasley having a hot stroke they could potentially pull an upset. No chance against the Cavs or Celtics of course unless they get a ton of major injuries.
  9. Also Cade is American which may help with his marketability since there aren't a lot of young up and coming US born players in the league right now.
  10. Yeah for Hill's first few seasons aside from the Bulls, Shaq and maybe Penny Hardaway he was probably the most popular and marketed player in the league. IIRC he actually was the top vote getter for the ASG a couple of times.
  11. BTW just read that the Lions made a proposal to change playoff seeding to overall record. I've always been in favor of that but the Chargers proposed it a few years ago and it didn't get much support so I'd imagine things aren't going to be any different this time.
  12. We should just keep Davenport in a bubble till a late season game with playoff implications then activate him. That way we'd atleast use his 1 allotted game on a high leverage one instead of wasting it on an early season non divisional one.
  13. I was always under the understanding that for majority of the teams most of their revenue came from licensing and mlb revenue sharing.
  14. To play Devil's Advocate, Michigan's BPI is only 29 and from my understanding that is a big stat that the committee puts a lot of stock in. So going by that a 5 seed sounds about right if you give them some bonus points for winning their tournament.
  15. I liked it but I did prefer the original with the more throwback design.
  16. I think Edwards was hurt by the fact that his stock was the highest after his true sophomore year so he had to return for another season. Then that season was a down year for him other than those big runs in the National Championship. Since that junior season was so so he probably felt that it was worth coming back and presumably finally getting to be the man with Corum gone.
  17. It's nice to see our light hitting 1B having another good day.
  18. They make an upgrade by putting the luxury seats behind homeplate so they have to offset it by doing some bad. Honestly though I'm surprised it took 25 yrs for this to happen
  19. Not to sound cold hearted but if the Tigers felt that his condition was effecting the quality of his performance I think it's fair game for them to make this call.
  20. That bar is low but yes this is a great comment. I think we all are guilty of just assuming any time we hear of a guy working at another position it's cause they are thinking about using him there in a relative full time basis when in fact it could just be for the reasons Cas mentioned.
  21. It took going to Korea for Reyes to finally develop that power that beat writers said he was always going to pick up.
  22. The Cavs were already an elite team but getting Deandre Hunter just took them to even a higher level. 15-2 the rest of the way gets them to that rare 70 win total.
  23. Looking at that class and along with A'Shawn you have Decker and Glasgow who are still starters in this league and Miles Killebrew who as a special teamer made the PB the last 2 years and was 1st team All Pro in 2023. Not bad at all considering we're 10 seasons removed from it.
  24. Ameer Abdullah is still in the league as well. Think he is going on 10 years so given the short shelf life of running backs nowadays that is pretty impressive.
