  1. Any QB can do what Goff does yet not every QB does.
  2. Goff is so fundamentally sound and has become so good at pre-snap and post snap reads that he snaps the ball, knows exactly where to go with it, and makes the throw. He doesn't hold onto it and dance around to make a play. He gets it, rips it, and makes a completion.
  3. You know who else wasn't mobile and won multiple Super Bowls? Eli Manning and I think Goff is a better QB than Manning. Philip Rivers had a very underrated career and he was the least mobile QB I have ever seen.
  4. I did see on at least one occasion they had a running back in to help on his side. He also lined up a few times over Trent Williams whose one of the best in the league.
  5. It's like Matthew Stafford all over again. Replace he doesn't beat good teams with Goff can't run.
  6. The Lions defense gave up 27 points in the 2nd half. They scored 31 against one of the best defenses in the league. I see you only come out of the woodwork when the Lions lose to blame Goff. Whatever makes you feel better.
  7. He did wow me with that pass off the defenders helmet, not going to lie.
  8. Lamar Jackson can scramble and Goff had as many playoff wins this year as Jackson has in his career.
  9. Matthew Stafford could sling it sidearm and went 12 years before winning a playoff game and lost to Goff in the playoffs.
  10. And yet everywhere he's gone he's won and led top 5 offenses.
  11. Everywhere Goff has been the team wins. Even at Cal. First year they are 1-11 and by his third year they are 8-5 and winning a bowl game. First year with the Rams they are 4-12. By year three they are 13-3 and in the Super Bowl. First year with the Lions they are 3-13-1. By year 3 they win their first division and playoff game in over 30 years and are 30 minutes away from a Super Bowl. On the Rams and Lions he was the QB for top 5 offenses.
  12. Hooker may be approaching 30 by the time he actually gets a shot.
  13. One player that comes to mind when I think of Goff is Brees. Brees wasn't mobile and wasn't known for his canon of an arm. The Saints ran the ball a lot more than you would think and did it with a two back approach like the Lions. Brees was good at throws over the middle like Goff and the Saints would also pick up those chunk throws over the middle like the Lions. Nothing really comes to mind that wows me about Drew Brees. I do think Brees though had a little better accuracy than Goff, but given the Campbell connections, it seems they are trying to make Goff into a poor man's Drew Brees.
  14. Reynolds dropped it. Anyone stating otherwise is just trying to blame the QB. I was wowed by this play last year. It's the first one that comes to mind. Then again I like QBs who put up the numbers and win and not ones who wow me.
  15. The 54 yarder was indoors. I would think Badgely's range outdoors would be 50 or under.
  16. Goff was also one of the best deep passers in the league this year. Jared Goff is one of the NFL's best deep ball passers in 2023 - A to Z Sports
  17. Don't change the goalposts because you are wrong on this. The title of your video is literally "Reynolds drops fourth-down throw.." You can literally freeze frame the throw and see the lineman start to swipe as Goff lets go of the throw. Even if he isn't, he risks throwing the ball at the head of the lineman. McVay literally lost to Goff in the playoffs. 🤣
  18. He avoided pressure, created a throwing lane, and hit his receiver on the hands. Just stop with this.
  19. You can literally see in that replay Goff had to through it outside or it would have been deflected by the lineman. I'm glad you posted that because I didn't realize how close the lineman came to batting that ball.
  20. If Reynolds doesn't drop two passes and a deep TD pass doesn't go through Williams hands, this is a much different game. They were also going against one of the best defenses in the league and scored 31 points despite all the drops.
  21. The 49ers pass defense is really good. Among the best in the league good.
  22. Goff should have threw the ball off the defender's facemask for a 50 yard gain.
  23. Speaking of having his worst game when it matters most, did you watch the AFC Championship game? bUt JaCkSoN rUnS fAsT.
