Yes Fields ran for 104 yards. He also only threw for 169 yards and didn't even complete a pass the entire 4th quarter. He had 273 yards from scrimmage. If a QB threw for 273 yards, there wouldn't be this much consternation. His yards per carry average against the Lions was inline with his season average. It's not like he was doing much better, he just had way more rushing attempts than he had in any other game previously and it seemed be design. The offense did the defense no favors by turning it over 4 times and in quick succession on some of them.

Figured the reactions to this week would be epic so I came to check them out and was not disappointed.

She sent out a tweet selling a hat. This is just more both sides bull**** which lead to Trump being elected in the first place.
-
Yeah. It supported over 200 Democratic candidates. It also supported things like Planned Parenthood, racial justice and voting rights. Donald Trump as is asking you to donate to a legal fund for crimes he committed. They are not the same thing.
-
Well you mentioned Hillary is fundraising off of this, which is true but Trump is fundraising for personal gain and Hillary is fundraising for a PAC supporting progressive causes. Hillary also only sent out a tweet, Trump is emailing people directly soliciting donations. Trump is also fundraising off a crime he committed that puts the US national security in jeopardy. It was just another false equivalency.
-
I mean, she's been selling her but her emails stuff for a while now before Mar A Lago was ever raided and they are used to raise funds for a PAC that supports progressive policies. They are not close to being the same.

I would not be surprised if Trump shared intelligence with Russia before they invaded Ukraine or with the Taliban before the US withdraw. I believe Trump wanted this info to sabatoge Biden in order to become president again. The rubes just hand him money so he doesn't need to sell them but I guess he could sell copies.

Remember, Tucker did and interview with Kid Rock and Kid Rock said Trump was showing him a bunch of maps and Kid Rock was like should I be seeing this.
-
When seeing this tweet, I can't get past that Kaitlan Collins and CNN just had a townhall with Trump as if he was just a normal candidate.

Lets not forget, there's still Georgia.

These are serious charges. I read yesterday from the same source that said Trump would be indicted today that Meadows was going to plead guilty to lesser crimes in exchange for partial immunity.

I never said Stafford was overrated and overhyped. I do think now Stafford at age 35, and an old 35 at that, is on the downside of his career. I'm not sure how I can make this anymore clear, I would take a 28 year old Stafford over a 28 year old Goff. Again, I'm not sure how I can be anymore clear about this. I also think Goff is a good QB. It's possible to think both Stafford and Goff are good QBs. My comparisons of Goff and Stafford have been their career arches which are remarkably similar and why I believed Goff could regain his form of 2017-2018. However, given their age and recent injury history, I think the future looks better for Goff than Stafford. When age related decline happens, it happens quick. Look how quickly Matt Ryan is out of the league. That in no way, shape or form says Stafford is overrated and overhyped. I'm one of the ones who wanted Stafford to win a Super Bowl to prove the haters wrong. I posted a quote from Dan Campbell who said Goff is better than he was with the Rams. That to me seemed to be shade at McVay. McVay was even asked about that and responded but I didn't bother posting it because people like you would bitch about it like you are now. I did not bring up Goff's PFF rankings. I did not bring up Lamar Jackson. I also brought up observations from OTAs that people complained were puff pieces. You are more than welcome to bring up something else to discuss about the team since discussing the starting QB is such a chore for you. -

Yeah because there has been permanent hype for players the Lions have used late round picks to acquire such as Trinity Benson and Michael Brockers. -

It should also be noted I wasn't the one who brought up Goff's PFF ranking. I posted Campbell's comments about Goff being better than he was on the Rams since I took that as more throwing shade at McVay than anything about Goff. -

I would imagine they can get the security video of the hotel to verify Williams was in the hotel at the time the bets were placed. I'm wondering if he had more bets on Lions property? It seems like if it were just the one time at the hotel the NFLPA would be filing grievances. -

How dare we discuss the starting QB of the Detroit Lions in the Detroit Lions forum. Nothing else was being discussed and people whined it was fluff when I posted observations of OTA's. Anyways, I found the solution to your problem: -

I wonder if they can prove he was inside the hotel? What if he made the bet outside on the street using the hotel wifi? Is the entire hotel considered the team hotel? Even the lobby? -

Oh so you're saying in 2022 Jackson was not better than Goff despite you're proclamation that Jackson was one of the best QBs in the league? And before you get to, he was hurt, on a per game basis, Goff averaged more combined yards than Jackson, more TDs than Jackson, more 1st downs than Jackson, and was a more accurate and efficient passer than Jackson. I also noticed you bring up Jackson's record at age 21 but ignore Goff playing in a Super Bowl at age 24. Have to hand it to you, that was some incredible goal post moving. -

In what way was Lamar Jackson more productive than Jared Goff last year? -

Jackson has averaged more carries than Swift who is an actual running back. Jackson is an old 26 whose had a couple of leg injuries now. You wouldn't call a 26 year old running back with an injury history and 5 years in the league as having upside. As Jackson's rushing yards have decreased, his passing has gotten worse. He's going to end up being a pocket passer at some point and he hasn't proven he's a great pocket passer. He's a better version of Cam Newton. It's just weird how Goff just always ends up with these great coaches. Of course the offense tailormade for Goff. It should be tailormade for you QB. I wouldn't expect Jackson to come here and run the same offense as Goff.
