  1. And yet New York ranks below the national average in violent crime and 8 of the top 10 states in violent crime are red states. Hint, neither of the blue states in the top 10 are California. California ranks below Texas in violent crime.
  2. If I lived in Wyoming I would vote for Cheney in the primary and then vote for the Democrat in the general. I would also never live in Wyoming under any circumstances so this is all moot.
  3. He probably already has Aryan Brotherhood connections on the inside.
  4. If the shooter kills himself before he kills more people, does that make him a good guy with a gun?
  5. Goff is under contract through 2024. He's under contract for three more seasons. You can pass on a QB this draft, play Goff Next year, draft a QB, and still have Goff as the starter with the rookie ready to take over in year two. Meanwhile, Goff is still good enough to make the playoffs if you build the team around him.
  6. Goff is under contract for two more seasons after this one. I'm still kicking the QB can down the road. I would use the two 1st round picks next year to draft a WR and CB.
  7. My city councilman has been arrested multiple times. He showed up to a BLM rally in another city and handcuffed a woman who stole her sign, he showed up to another BLM rally in tactical gear carrying an assault rifle, and was arrested again at Cobo Hall when he was trying to break in to overturn the vote. The district is about 50% black and is a pretty solid Democratic district but no one shows up to vote in these local elections except for the few crazies.
  8. It's ironic Trump saying he can't see the teleprompter.
  9. Note how Junior was concerned about Trump's legacy and not the country or Pence's life.
  10. I hope they do Ted Cruz next.
  11. This hearing showing what a little bitch Hawley is. Love it.
  12. Look at the vaunted 2018 draft. Was suppose to be a deep QB draft and 3 of the top 4 QBs are no longer on the teams that drafted them.
  13. Can probably remove Murray as a potential Goff replacement.
  14. Fetterman would be a terrific national candidate. The issue is do you want to risk losing a progressive senator from Pennsylvania? There's no guarantee a Democrat wins that seat much less a progressive. Fetterman has the look and feel of your typical Trumper. He's big, white, bald head, goatee, wears sloppy clothes and speaks off the cuff. Fetterman would have a lot more appeal in Michigan and Wisconsin than Newsome who some progressives are swooning over.
  15. It would be like someone from Illinois driving to Detroit in his BMW and Armani sport coat standing outside Lafayette Coney Island posing with a Coney and drinking a Vernor's Ginger Ale.
  16. The 2003 Tigers. The Lions share that record with Cleveland and technically Tampa. When you look at the Lions history, it's a lot like the White Sox. Bad but not always the worst. In 120 years the White Sox have lost 100 games 4 times. The Tigers meanwhile have done it 7 times. As bad as the Lions have been, they've only drafted number one overall twice. The Lions have actually finished 2nd in the division more often than they have finished last.
  17. I'm going to say the White Sox are a worse franchise than the Lions. Their only playoff series win since 1917 came in 2005. From 1919 to 2005 they only made one World Series in 1959 and lost. They only made the playoffs four times in that 85 year stretch and lost each time and I haven't even mentioned the Black Sox scandal. The White Sox get big points for recency bias for the 2005 championship, but I'll say it, the White Sox are a worse franchise than the Lions.
  18. There is no right answer but yet you say I'm wrong. How does that work? I see you included the wild card play in game as a playoff round victory and then also said it's easier to make the playoff in the NFL. Ironically, had MLB not expanded the wild card to include a play in game only 3 years prior, the Cubs would have never made the playoffs in 2015. They would have never made the playoffs in 2003 had MLB not added the wild card in 1995. Post 1946, the Lions have 3 championships to the Cubs one and played in 4 championships to the Cubs one. The Lions still overall have more championships than the Cubs.
