The shooting happened Tuesday. Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night, they stay near Oxford. Friday night, when they are formally charged, they decide to spend the night on the east side of Detroit nowhere near Oxford or the jail they needed to turn themselves in on Pontiac. It's also at this time they disable their phones to avoid being tracked.

People are going to look twice at a white person and the mother was actually spotted.

I know I like to hang out in abandoned buildings in freezing weather in dangerous neighborhoods when I want to chill. The east side of Detroit is nowhere near Oxford or Pontiac and they still failed to show. There was someone sheltering them in that building. Probably waiting until they can make other arrangements to get out of the state.

They apparently know the owner of the building. Regardless, they would stick out like cue balls in that neighborhood. Not the place for white people to go unnoticed which is evident by the fact they were noticed.

If I wanted to take a day or two to turn myself in I would go hide in one of the most dangerous parts of the country.

Even if they got into Canada, they would be just as wanted and I'm sure the Canadian authorities would be searching just as hard.

Bellevue and Lafayette is the area where my grandparents first opened their business way back in the day. That is one desolate and rough area now. I can't imagine why they would hide out in Detroit unless their next move was to sneak into Canada.

In the gran scheme of things, $4,000 isn't a lot so they will need help if they plan to actually flee and get away. I suggest they look for vacuum cleaner stores with owners who drive kidney bean looking vans.

I wouldn't be surprised if she ran for state wide office in the future but Bouchard isn't someone to be trusted at face value.

After L Brooks Patterson kicked the bucket he has to be. Is Bouchard the only Republican left who holds a county wide office?

I currently put away 21% of my take home. 6%, which is matched by the employer, goes to a 401k and the other 15% in just a savings account. I did invest in mutual funds and they were doing well but this past week or so have lost a lot. I'm not sure if I should sell or just ride it out. This is the part of investing I hate.

The most dangerous border city in the US is on the Canadian border and not the Mexican border.

I have to imagine their home was a media circus so I can see them wanting to hide out.

The sheriff has had unsuccessful runs for senate and governor and is the opposite party of the prosecutor so I would take his word at face value.

I can't imagine the sheriff didn't know charges were coming. The prosecutor said a decision would be made Friday. He just lost track of the parents and is trying to deflect blame.

Is the border to Canada open? I would imagine they are out of Michigan by now. They're probably heading for a red state that will help in preventing them from being extradited.
